Heya,

Sorry, i couldn't find anything whislt using the search but i was looking for the following if they exist:

Aircraft Upgrade- Much more realistic aircraft, names and models etc.

Road Vehicle Upgrade- Many more buses, including double deckers and perhaps based on the London Buses.

Train Upgrade- An upgarde to existing Trains with many more models and more realistic names.

I have also seen people that have had new Track Upgrades and New Road upgrades. Where can one find these updates?

Regards
Mike

It is indeed an excellent resource. Sadly not all work with OTTD. But it sure is a start.

Yes, i downloaded the Aircraft add-on and downloaded the correct version for OTTD but i am unsure how to install it.

I have read the readme but makes bugger all sense to me. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks
Mike

P.S. The aircraft i got from here: http://www.as-st.com/ttd/planes/index.html

Heya,

Just a quick question. Does anyone have any links to other site with new GRF's that include more buses and road vehicles?

I remember in atleast 1 vesion of TTDX there were Double Deckers aswell.

Also, what software do people use to create these add-ons?

Thanks
Mike

Yes, check my sig for links.
Also look for a topic in the TTDPatch GRAPHCS section called GFRCrawler.

Usually people use Paint and a TXT editor to make those stuff. There is also a sticky topic for that.

this set has some double deckers
http://ppcis.org/nightly/pb_hovs_bus.grf
the trainset is awsome also
http://www.pikkarail.com/ttdp/ukrs/index.htm
the trainset works, the industry set doesn't, you dont need 2cc for OTTD because in older versions, it doesn't work, and in newer versions, its included.

Thanks very much for your help.

I think i may attempt to create some add-on's myself if it is not too tricky. I have a website ready, just created it this morning.

Thanks
Mike

The graphics are the easy part, the coding the hard part.

Hey, yer. I was looking at the Tutorial and it looks a wee bit hard. I can do Computer Programming, but i am just not too sure on how to program the game exactly.

Thanks

There are two words that apply here: "try", and "ask"

Note the order: You try, and then if it doesn't work, you say "I tried this, and it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?"

Ask a good question, and I am quite willing to help, as are most other NFO coders.
