Hi

I have serched but couldn't find the answer

I have turned on the max trains (trains=240) switch but it has no effect is this because i was running a save game or have i done something else wrong?

You could also have hit the vehicle limit, which means all vehicles together including trains, waggons, cars, ships, planes, and their shadows.

To increase this limit change your morevehicles setting.

Don't increase it to much or it can slow down your game.
I have my setting at 17 which is enough for all vehicles that I have.

Don't forget that you can really hit the max vehicle setting early on if you've got lots of steam engines and have the moresteam switch set to values above 4. (Steam puffs are 'vehicles' too, right?)

Steam puffs are vehicles, but count in a different way. For a morevehicles setting of n, you get n*690 real vehicles, and n*160 "pseudo" vehicles, which include steam puffs and other visual effects.

So if you have too many steam puffs, you just won't get more steam puffs but can still buy the full 690 vehicles.
