Problem with ttrs3

I downloaded the total town replacement set v3 from this site today: http://george.zernebok.net/download/dev ... /16012006/
And my question is? is this just an expirimental version?
Because i only get some statues and petrol stations.
They look good but i won't call that an total town replacement set.
Do i have to use a parameter or something?

I have the ttd patch version 2.5 beta 1.
I uninstalled all my grf's except the ttrs3.grf.
What am I doing wrong?

Shouldn't you use parameters to define certain circumstances? I believe it's the first parameter settings that determine the outcome in-game!

More information available in the "read-me" file!

you have to have both TTRS3 and TTRS2 activated in your config file IIRC. This will give you all the new buildings.

I ask the maker of this to change the name.
When will it release then?
The site says "somwhere in 2006''.
But it's March and 9 months are long you know.

Swiping graphics is outright cheating!

As for Zimmlock not releasing version three yet, please relax and enjoy version two for a while. He could easily be churning out half-assed buildings by the truckload. But over the years has improved his style where each graphic is a pleasure on the eyes. Or creates an unique way to present an image using pixels that dazzles. So when he feels the latest batch is ready for public consumption, then he shall release it.

Hell, if half my buildings were as good as his are, I would be stalling for a public release for a while too until I felt comfortable enough not to keep returning to buildings for further alterations. So enjoy what is available, because he could easily horde them all to himself if he desired. :D

I've never stolen graphics. :x I suppose this small embarrassing position we can solve with Zimmlock ourselves.

Waah? wait, now I'm confused,
so what's the difference between TTRS3 and TTRS-v3?

Whose grf is TTRS anyway?

I have the same problem, the TTRS3w.grf file (which I would presume is TTRS3) only adds petrol stations. Is it something I do wrong?

If you read the thread carefully, you'll learn that whatever the file is that you're using, it's not TTRS-v3. At best it's a snapshot of a GRF Zimmlock made to test something, but in any case, I don't think you should use it.

This should clear things up really fast.

The TTRS3 that is available from George's web site is only a very partial version that Zimmlock allowed George to use so that George could have a couple of industries to complement his work on ECS.

For Zimmlock's progress on TTRS3 one should visit his thread and web site to see what is about to awe and inspire us.

Like a child on Christmas Eve, I want to open my presents now but papa Zimmlock says I have to wait. Maybe if I'm really very quiet he won't notice as I watch him wrap and hide the presents. 8)
