Start Date: 1960 - Difficulty: Chellenging - AI: None - Goal: Deliver 250,000 crates of goods in 30 years.
Welcome to Land of the Lakes, my first fictional creation. Its 1960 and you have been appointed to help this rugged land to its full potential. Deliver 250,000 crates of goods within 30 years. There is no competing companies...they just mess up the landscape anyway!
As usual I deliver two versions..one with addons and one without.
If you choose to go with add-ons...this is what you need
You need a couple packs by Plastikman for this version - You need his US/Canadian Pack and his Amtrak pack which can be found here.

Special thx Plastikman.
Also ty to ampz for his mapgen program!
Enjoy!

This one is sure to make you think..share your strategies here if you'd like to.

Dude. ok, i dont even know where to start. this is more like a command and conquer map then LoMo... this is going to be one hell of a challenge. the biggest issue is going to be the time limit.

It is tough but I will throw out a hint. Start with cattle near Stevensville. From there food can be delivered as well as passengers. After that you will have the money you need to conquer the map slowly but surely. Once you can make the goods, you dont have to worry about city building much, there is already cities big enough to accept some goods. And remember bud, boats are your friend on this map..at least until you have gobs of money.

I don't think boats will cut it. I am trying wood first.

Here it is. What a long scenario.
I went for the all wood solution which can be improved by getting the oil from the corner of the map. I got distracted by planes at some point which explains the extra cash.

wow thats amazing....I like your strategy adn. Trying cattle down south was unproductive and a waste of time. I'm going to give your method a shot and see how it goes. You always seem to find the best way to tackle a map adn... cheers.
I have been spending hours trying to beat my Oregon map. I think I made it too hard

Glad this one is beatable!!

I was not sure about this map either, makes me want to bust it back out. I am hopelessly lost on Oergon also, i am harvesting every lumber yard in the game with no luck. i dont think i'll hit the 50% at the game end. then again i wasted 10 years hauling grain and cattle in that scenario to get startup cash. also been wasting time attacking NOD forces.....

I am going to try this scenario as well. As I finish it, I'll (maybe) post some screens.

you are most welcome nettony. I'm glad everyone is having a good time with this scenario. It was my first fictional creation so I wasnt sure how people would like it. I'm about to pump out a Western Canada soon and repackage my Oregon scenario so it is beatable, then perhaps I'll make another fictional map.
