Cant install original ttd please help

hi all i have windows xp and transport tycoon deluxe.
after i have opened the installation program i get a blue screen with some flags so i can choose my laungae (spell?) anyways i can move my mouse like half an inch on the screen and that it all freezes.
then i tried downloading a version on the internet but for some reason there wasnt any vehicles in that version. can somebody tell me where i can find a version with all the vehicles or tell me how to get the computer to install the game...

Hi, welcome here.
You can't play original TT on WinXP, at least not very easy.
You better get ttd and the patch.

I have the same problem. Is there any possibility to play Tycoon Original on WIn XP? It is one of the greatest games I've ever played and I really miss it.

You'll need to use DOSBox. It shouldn't be too tricky to set up - the latest versions can run TTO quite well even if you leave all the settings at default (assuming you have a fairly powerful computer). Once you've got DOSBox installed, you'll want to run it and type something like

mount c c:\tto
c:
tycoon

replacing "c:\tto" with wherever you installed/extracted TTO (you might have to run TTO's installer through DOSBox too, I can't remember).

Original TT will not run through Dosbox, comes up with an automatic error on startup about running out of stacks

this may however be a vista issue, am not 100% certain
