Hallo,
sorry for interrupting, but im poor in english and searching in this large file of topics is a problem for me...:(

I have TTDLX for Win, patch 1.9, and its working, but only in window...

I try to set FULL SCREEN in TT config - nothing happened...
I set win95 compability (GameGFX and ttdpatchw) - nothing happened, still little eye-fraying window:(

Can anyone help? In basic english?:)))))))

Thx

if your running windows 2000 and using one of the ALPHA versions of ttdpatchw 1.9. on some windows 2000 machines they refuse to go to fullscreen with ALPHA versions, if u take the normal 1.9 then u will be able to play fullscreen. if you are running another windows os then i dont know whats wrong, have you tried the guides on this forum for fullscreen?

Seeing the title of this topic, I think yes.
I don't think it works, but as nothing seems to, try setting the icon from which you start the patch at Windows 95 compatibility.

Hi everybody :) this is my first post here :)

I've been always a big fan of TT, and since I installed XP I wasn't able to play this great game anymore.

Finally I found this great patch, and now I'm half-happy because now I can run it, but always in windowed mode (ARGH).

I've read all topics (so please don't tell me to read them all again) and I can't manage to set it fullscreen.
It's set at 1 on the registry, set on windows95 compatibility mode, the w2k option on the cfg file is also on.

If there's anything else I should try, please let me know :( I need help.

Using windows xp pro (SP1 included) in spanish

please help me! or I'll need glasses soon LOL

EDITED: sorry guys, it seems I didn't read one of them, and it was the one with a working solution :) (create a shorcut for the patch with the commandline included, then setting to w95 compatibility worked GREAT!!!!!)

yeah :)

it's a shame when you remember such a great game and once you get it to work you see what a low res it's using
Now it would be awesome if there would be any way to see it on bigger res, at least 800x600 :) :) but, well, at least it works :) :) :)

1) have TTD for Win
2) have TTDPatch (with enabled 'win2k')
3) set compatibility mode of Gamegfx.exe to Win95 (in prosperites)
4) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\FISH technology Group\Transport Tycoon Deluxe .... set fullscreen to '1' (zero, null)
5) now should work

********************************************

all this pointz are OK...
TTD for Win = ok, downloaded from TT-forumz
patch from actual download from its home website and win2k is 1
compability mode is set on GameGFX and on patch file .exe
register settings = 1
now do not work...:( still little window...

BTW> Im rich in Czech language:)))

And because i am poor (unemployment, no work for me:( ) i have no money for an original XP (i hope U cannot divulge me to mykrosoft:)) and i think i cannot update my XP (service pack 2)...

You should set the compatibility on the ttdpatchw.exe file

I think some people can and others can't run it in full screen
I got this e-mail from Josef on the mailing list

There's a problem in the alpha releases which prevents some people from
playing full screen, even with win2k on and in compatibility mode. It
appeared when I went from 1.9 to 1.9.1 alpha 1, but by the time it was
reported to me, it was too late to try and figure out what went
wrong. There were far too many changes in alpha 1 to be able to guess
which one caused it.

By now, I can't do anything about it until somebody tells me what is wrong
in the code.

Perhaps it will get fixed in future versions !

Is the displaymode set to 4 or 5 as well? (in registry or ttconfig program)

You can also download :P TTDPatch Starter ...
http://www.ttdpatch.glt.pl/download/tps/tps.zip
There is a very simple and usefull option in menu: Create TTD Registry Entry
and you can set all TTD options there ....

 maybe it is the same like in Win 2000 .... .... I suggest to play in window ... and if you have very big resolution (1280x1024 or more) just change it to smaller (1024x768 should be enough - I play in window with this resoultion)
