Hello.
One of my favorite hobby's is to design aircraft. most of them are Passenger airliners. I made one called the Phoenix FG-1 and would like some crit on it and also some help with building this for locomotion. I made these images in paint so they might not look that great.
anyway here they are:

and offcourse the side:

(THANK YOU IMAGESHACK for hosting these pictures)
I hope you like the design, and like I said Crits on the airplane are most welcome. (It will be equiped with the swing-wings like an F-14 because if it doesn't have those it won't be able to reach high speeds)

Nice design. Very similar to the FireFlash from the Thunderbirds.
Please make it for Locomotion if you can.

You score 100 points!

, I got all the good things of the best aircraft in the world, and put them all together in 1. I saw the fireflash in thunderbirds and knew I had to add some of these features to my aircraft. also I would like to try to make them a swing wing ingame. But damn I'm not good at modelling at all. so I could use some help with that. If there are skinners around, that want to help me with this feel free to send me a pm. That's it for now.
*edit*

Yes it is a passenger airliner. looks rather big for a Fighter doesn't it ?
oh right and forgive me for the Engilish when I spelled something wrong.

How fast can you throw a paper model airplane?
To Kyla: Nice made, looks impressive.

Kyla, is that what inspired that arcraft design?
Its very immpressive!

I would love to see that in Loco.
maley123: the average speed for a paper airplane is around 5-8mph. Dont know why i actually brought that up.
Anyway, please do not respond to that. i dont want to go off topic.
Kyla:
What other designs do you have? Im very interested to see them

at an estimate, what speed should the plane go at?
Looking at its design, number of engines, and aerodynamic design, im estimating twice that of concord?

I'm still not sure what the specs are.
But since it has some many engines it should have a huge amount of horsey's and I designed it so it will be the first Passenger aircraft to be able t reach mach 2. though thank god, you don't have fuel in locomotion cause that's the other problem I still have with this aircraft.
I'll make an estimation of all the specs soon.
estimated speed is around 2,500 mph I think. but like I said the fuel it will use will be unknown to man-kind

Your right, good thing we dont have fuel!
What other designs do you have if you dont mind me asking?
Im interested to see them

well maybe making two one a prototype made in a earlier year which isn't very good with realibility
and make one real thing which is made at a later year
it will be more realistic

Just one release should be good enough; you wont use the bad one if you know that one year later the good one comes.

true
but what about one that is awarded to you if you have one of there aircraft

You cant get awards for something.

I'm afraid this is the only one I've worked out in paint. I have some others but those are just some fighters. not all that interesting.
Maley it's not a bad idea but I agree with Illegal Alien there's really no point in doing that.

Only land, sea and air speed records i belive.

Right I'm having a hard time finding the Horsey's on the Concorde. I'm comparing the Phoenix FG-1 with the concorde in order to estimate the specs on it. Though I'm not sure the HP of locomotion in accurate. So could someone help finding the real specs of the concorde? Would be greatly appriciated.

Power has no use for airplaines, teh concord could do mach2 as far i know.

Ok I made specs so far.
Name: Phoenix FG-1
Power: Somewhere around 10000hp (concorde has like 3000hp in loco so I guess this is ok)
Speed: Mach 3.2 >>> 3840 km/h >>> 2400 mp/h
Weight: 90 tons.
Designed in: 2005
Capacaty: 350 passengers and 100 bags of mail.
I hope these sound good to you. If not please tell me what's wrong and I'll rethink about it.
