Hi, I would like to ask if anybody can tell me what graphics set is this and if it is possible to put it to newer version of OpenTTD. I always remember Tycoon looking like this. I dont really like the graphics in version 1.8. (sorry for bad english) Thank you.

The landscape graphics are the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe graphics, which you can use in OpenTTD if you include some files in your 'data' directory (see herethe list of files)
Some of the houses, and the roads, are part of the Total Town Renewal Set, which can be downloaded in-game.

The base graphics (original buildings, grass, water) are from the Windows 95 version of Transport Tycoon Deluxe. You can only legally obtain them and use them by purchasing the game, which has been out of publication for nearly two decades, which is why we've created OpenGFX base graphics as a free replacement.

I recall there being a grf for the 16 view xUSSR trains, but for the life of me I can't seem to find it.

The newstations preview for the modern warehouses and cold stores have three tracks. Is this a part of the grf?

newstations are by Michael Blunck. You might want to ask him over in his topic.

Those preview icons are from an older implementation of "pseudo tracks" before the invention of that "track type" feature in OTTD. Since then, a different solution had to be found.

The underlying idea can be put to life with the next version of NewStations (v0.7) in connection with the DBrails track set, see picture.

Talking about this... has DBXL 0.9 ever been released, and same for Alpine Vehicles ?

I'd also be looking for a NewGRF called Finescale NuTracks. Anyone here got these ?

DBXL 0.9 has not been released yet.

AlpineSetTrains, the successor of AlpineVehicles, is a postponed project of Snail and me. The main idea was to assemble already existing vehicles from DBXL and Snail´s French set(s), together with a number of single Austrian and Swiss vehicles which had been drawn by me now and then.

regards
Michael

Does anyone have British Modular Stations Set?
I really want to try it out, but its website doesn't work and the forums page doesn't have a download of it.

Cheers in advance

Cna anyone tell me what track set is used in this screenshot? I was told NuTracks 1.1.2 but I can't recreate the tracks at pj1k scale which is what is desired, and the parameter it claims to have to change the graphics depending on the GRFs present wouldn't work.

Never publicly released, I was given an unfinished demo version. It's not for me to give it out.

It is Finescale NuTracks, you can ask for it either to tintinfan or romazoon, they have it.

I've been meaning to come back to this for some time now, somebody (I can't remember who, and I can't find the post now) asked where I got this list from.

OpenTTD developer Rubidium keeps a list of all known NewGRFs that have been used in public server games.

I asked the question myself.

So if you know those GRFs from a server list, do you know who is hosting the server, if he is on the forums and still active ?
EDIT : Looking at the list, there are so many NewGRFs i don't know about.

I'd like to know about this one :

Code: Select all

41500101	C0BC004A6C895EE091A6CC5048F56641	Urban Rail Tunnel Portal
Back on it, it seems we can't find anything about it...

EDIT2 : I found Enhanced Toyland Set : click here
