yes, i have checked those topics, but i still cant get it to work...

i have the following problems:

1. there is no such thing as a "compatibilty tab" in my ttdpatchw.exe file
2. i cant find "regsvr32 C:\winnt\apppatch\slayerui.dll" nad even if i did, i wouldnt know what to to with it...

When you right-click on the exe file, then you will see properties , choose this
Then you will see the compatibility tab
There you can choose win95 or win98

I never needed that slayeruii

i am also using XP; i created a shortcut from ttdpatchw.exe file onto my desktop. when you rightclick the shortcut icon, then you'll find the
compatibility tab.

service pack

Do you have service pack 2 or better ?
you must have it to get the compatibly mode i think.
I run ttd under windows 2000 in fullscreen and it works fine

To get the compatability tab

In windows XP, click on the Start-menu and click Run...
In this window, type this text: regsvr32 C:\winnt\apppatch\slayerui.dll
Press enter. Now ttdpatch.exe has a compat. tab

the comp. mode on windows 2000 dosent exist on the .exe file, create a shortcut to the .exe file, in the properties on the shortcut file there u can find "compatibility mode"

I can't , don't have win2k

You're sure you ran the ttconfig.exe and changed it to full screen ???
You're sure you set the compatibility on ttdpatchw.exe and that you run this ???

Other than that ?????????????

Perhaps try to contact jacke

To get fullscreen I first visited http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and got servicepack 2,
rebooted my computer, clicked on the startmenu > run > "regsvr32 c:\winnt\apppatch\slayerui.dll"
then I made a shortcut to ttdpatchw.exe, right-clicked on the shortcut > compatiblity mode >
windows 95. In TTconfig.exe I enebled fullscreen (mode 4) on the display tab.
Then i just run my shortcut.

It seems you have done this but maybe you missed something ore have an other version of windows 2k then me if thats matter. I run windows 2000 Proffessional.

Maybe this can help you: http://www.transporttycoon.co.uk/downlo ... on-nt.html
