You can either download the patch as said above or get Open Ttd from
here both seem to work, but i prefer open ttd because you can change the resolution in fullscreen mode. In fullscreen with the patch it just looks streched.
It works..

I tried the original TT a while back to see what it was like and I'm pretty sure that it worked straight away for me with no patches. TTdeluxe isn't a patch for TT, it's a whole new game that Chris Sawyer released.

Usually in the ttd directory in a folder called "newgrf" for the patch, then you add lines into the config file manually or get a program to do it for you. If you're using open TTD then you put them in the data folder in the open ttd directory. Then you also have to edit that config file manually aswell or use my graphics configurator I made for openttd.

I dunno how to use it.. when i press the OpenTTDgraph.exe, "Class not registered.
You need the following file to be installed on your machine. MSSTDFMT.DLL" Plz help me..
And when them are installed will it be better graphic then ?

You can also select "Original Vehicle Names (ENG)" language to have TT vehicle names.

What you need to do is firstly get that file, i guess
Then you need to open the program (this should work)
Then click on the mode combo box and select add
Then you add the paths for the *.grf files (these must be downloaded separately)
Next you click on the checkbox to turn it on or off.
Finally, make sure that you have the openttd.cfg path correct and click on compile.
If the program fails then bad openttd.cfg path
If Open TTD fails with bad grf file location or *.grf could not be found, bad location for *.grf files
The locations should be put in as follows: anything you add to the data foldet in the open ttd directory is just add as the filename. eg. "dbsetXL.grf" in the data folder would just be put in as "dbsetXL.grf
etc.
Have Fun

sine when downloading game = game installed ?
are you sure you followed instruction that Purno gave ?
you have to install game as it says, click on setup.exe or install.exe
if there is none of those or they do not work use
TTD Registry Editor

You need to download the file, extract the file, install TTD, and install TTDpatch. Only when those things are done, it'll work.

OpenTTD misses some features the patch has, AFAIK, but it has some features the patch misses. OpenTTD for example is great for multiplaying and has bigger maps. If you're interested in this, give it a try.
