How to build a bridge I cant build connecting 2 separate land by water

Make sure you have both bits of land in view, then just drag it from the slope on one side to the slope on the other side, making sure the slopes are in the same (well technically it's opposite but you the same makes more sense) direction.

It's as she described, click on the bridge icon, select the bridge, click on the slope (which is straight and not diagonal!!!), then without unclicking, drag your mouse to the opposite position, this should draw a white area around the squares (sort of highlight), then un-click
Both sides must be in view, so you may have to zoom out

thank you for you help ,I start it by putting the white square / start of the bridge in the flat not on slope, so I knew that slope not the sqaure after it , Sorry I posted 3 times and in 3 forum because I desperate to have bridge I see some saves and scenarios that have bridge so I envy cause they have and I have not I aleady created scenario for Philippines My home land is composed of 7 ,107 islands I dream that onc in game I connected them Because in real life it is not all or most connected We have problems of being archipelago I had just recreating islands scenario many times for just like to have rail and road bridge
