Christmas thoughts...
Christmas thoughts...
I've not been around for a little while, mainly because of work... but
I've just had a chance to play the latest patch, and have a couple of
thoughts....
1. You don't seem to be able to place canals under bridges (though you
can place bridges over canals....
2. In the arctic climate (all that I've had a chance to play), the
grass by the canals is still temperate green, and doesn't appear to
get snowy!
3. It would be good if it was possible to place lighthouses /
transmitter masts - a menu option from by the place trees would be
agood place to put it...
I'm sure I'll probably think of other comments, but, er, the patch is
looking fantastic - thanks to all that have been working on it -
particularly features like the hi-res and introduction of canals are
real bonuses!
Merry Christmas!
Chris

The same occurs with electrified tracks, but not with regular tracks or roads.1. You don't seem to be able to place canals under bridges (though you

Remember that if you have the very latest patch, it is the alpha 41 version,
which is prone to have some bugs, because it is an alpha version.

It´s a bug in a42. As a workaround, just electrify the depot(s) (no need to- and people carriages don't appear to be
available in standard depots, just electric ones.

You cannot place a railway-track under YOUR bride, too.1. You don't seem to be able to place canals under bridges (though you
can place bridges over canals....)
It says "Tile belongs to another Company" (Gebiet gehört einer anderen
