positive loan

i have this strange little problem:
i have a positive loan, in stead of a negative one (which would be normal)
when i try to repay my loan, it gets bigger (every time +$20.000), and when i try to borrow more i get a message i can't loan more

this happened in an earlier version of the patch; it should no longer happen in 1.9 or higher.
The problem is that the AI increases or decreases the loan in different step sizes than human players do, so if you manage an opponent, you can then have a loan the computer player won't be able to pay back.
I don't think this can be fixed from inside the game, but the TTDX Editor might have an option to change the loan (I don't remember exactly).
If you play 1.9, it won't happen again.

the 1.9 release version? I fixed this bug in 1.9 beta 3.
However, if you're playing a game where you switched to a subsidiary and took out a loan with an earlier version, the problem won't go away if you upgrade.
If this is a game you started after getting 1.9, it seems the bug is still there.

Looks like I didn't quite fix that... it's also causing problems in multiplayer games.
Back to the drawing board...

i got a similar topic in the forum, i've updated to the alpha 27 and started a new game. the bug still occurs. do i need to change the config?
Yes, It happened to me too 
...it's somewere in the forums posted... 
But since i've updated my ttd with the new patches it didn't happen again
