WTF?
Spam in a very strange format.
The attachment is a link to a silly website probably. I'm not going to give
them the hapiness of getting a visitor.

You can send binaries to any group, binary or not. The thing is news servers
allocate huge amounts of their bandwdith to the binary groups. This group
could well become a binary group, but the binaries would take a long time to
download, and certain servers will strip messages of attachments. That's why
the binaries groups were created.
I could send a binary, you could, anyone could. It is discouraged because
they take a long time to download.
And anyway, this person is a troll. Please ignore all of his posts.
Thanks very much,
Eddie

And many ISPs will delete it - I get no binaries in non binary groups,
so I haven't seen the ones you're all complaining about!
