What the hell!

I think i'm back,
I'd just like to apologise to everyone I annoyed, I was streesed, had Exams
and shouldn't have took it out, that Rijk was being annoying and that warez
thing was out of control. I'm back, I think...
BTW Rijk, say what you want, I won't answer you...

Sorry Paul, but this seems a very silly way to come back. Maybe you two
should stop bickering, turn over a fresh page, and start again.
Anyone in favour of making warez a forbidden topic on this NG? After the
recent heated discussion, I'd rather we never had a debate on warez ever
again!

Eddie--
I'm all in favour of 'banning' discussion on warez. You may already know my
opinion on warez and people may (violently) disagree with it. We are all
entitled to our own opinions, but we come here because it's fun (I do at
least). If it were to stop being fun then we would stop coming here. I
understand how stressed exams can make ppl. and shouting at others is a
*very* effective way of relieving it (just ask my family), but warez is a
thorny issue and there is not much point in discussing it.
BTW. If someone *does* post the address of a warez site here, everyone is
invited to complain via E-mail

Indeed. I have flushed my mind of the entire thread now. I can't even
remember what you thought.
I'll guess many people will disagree, because of the fact that you are free
to say what you want. My reply is that if you say something which gets the
whole group up in arms, flames being thrown from person to person, then you
might as well have not said it at all, becuase you have ended the fun that
we have here. In fact, it's trollish behaviour.
I finished the exams at Christmas. Yes the stress was high, but I somehow
managed to bottle it all up.
BTW. If someone *does* post the address of a warez site here, everyone is
invited to complain via E-mail
That would be the only situation when warez posting is allowed. When warez
links are posted, then we all complain until something is done about it,
like complaining on the sly to Geocities!

Yes I had English (and German speaking today) I was very tired and stressed.
I took out my agression by crashing load of (my) trains in TT
Oh how I laughed: Come on little train *honest* you *wont* come to any harm,
just jump the red light....

What I meant was complain without telling anyone that you are going to do
so.

As I said, people will reply with "freedom of speech" etc. etc.
It's just that this thread really did get the people on this group very
angry, caused a lot of flaming, and has still left a divide between the pros
and antis. Next time this happens I'm almost certain that it will get worse.
If there are divides between whos who on the group, then it only spoils the
fun on this group. After all, this group is *not* for warez discussion.
If I think a thread's getting out of hand, I simply ignore it.
A wise move, but everyone would have to do this. It just isn't going to
happen.

Good idea as it avoids flames wars, bad idea as it does respect the free
opinions everyone can express on Usenet.
I'd rather that every one here decide not to post about warez, instead of
making that forbidden.
