Nice map, would be nicer if OpenTTD could have 'multi-climates'. ;)

I requested this a while ago, the idea was put on the back-burner because of more pressing issues I believe.

Multi-climates would rock, you'd be able to use all the different vehicles some of which are climate-specific, in any climate which would be nice. There's so many advantages...

I made a new version of the map. Bigger: 2048x2048, more citys!, some rivers, woods.
Unfortunately the map-size is too big for the form-upload, so get it here:

Some Feature Request for the scenario editor which shouldnt be that complicated (perhaps?):
1. We you demolish, you can drag an area as big as you want with the mouse-cursor. When building trees not, why ?
2. Thera is only random trees everywhere and building very dense trees. There should be something like a density control.
3. When clicking on "Many random Towns" there should be a "are you sure" warning. Costed me an hour of work :)
4. When the "Load from PNG" works good, there should be the possibility to import trees, citys, landmarks by special colors, too. Not like every road, but like: red pixel builds a city there, green pixel builds a tree. Its much easier to place them on a png than in the editor.
5. Why cant you build citys very close to each other ?

The world scenario is that made only by "hand" or have you used some map generator tool? If the last what tool did you used?

The url doesn't work.

And in the original I found atleast one mistake. Oslo is where Stockholm should be. Oslo should be more to Southwest.

Nice! (second URL doesn't work :( )

I have to say I did chuckle a bit when I saw all the snow in australia! :P

An all-in-one climate would be quite good indeed.

Four screenshots for world:

And the last screenshots.

The scenario is interesting, but some details are missing (such the Gibraltar or Messina straits but they are too small in real world that is too big). I like it.

May I request a Scandinavian map, without any cities, just the landscape? :)
