Tunnel entrances

I was wondering if it would be possible for a certain tunnel to have different graphics then all the rest, and more important, make it user selectable. I've got an idea in mind, but I need to know if this is possible first. I think making tunnels like bridges would be best (you click a tunnel then select the graphic).

If I'm right there's a topic about tunnel entrances somewhere in the graphics section. You can change road, railroad and maglev tunnel entrances indepently btw. The sprites do have a mysterious shape though.

Yes, I looked up the thread. As far as I can see there would only be interest in it once some graphics have been created, so maybe I'll just go ahead and create my graphic. Here's the idea btw: I plan on creating a tunnel graphic that has a building on top, so you can use it in cities. After that I plan on making station graphics that work the same way, so it's possible to create underground stations. First the tunnels though. I'm also working on some ideas for complete underground systems in cities, for that I'll probably need to replace the monorail/maglev by the underground graphics, we'll see...

Sure, draw tunnel-entry graphics, it won't hurt anything.

Somewhere around there are also experiments for allowing build-on-slopes over tunnel entrances, which would also be cool.
