What? No Fields?

Scenario editor a45 and a45 fix - Temperate, Arctic and Tropic - built farm - no fields :!:

I lost the scenario and so I have no screenshot but I built a food processing plant in the Tropic Climate and that made fields. Sorry, but now I can't repeat the food plant bit in any climate.

a44 not affected

If I start and save the scenario in a44 and then load it into a45, the fields built in a44 remain in a45.

I'm going to try an a45 new game and see if the program makes fields. brb.

Ok ... I'm back ... Appears to be a randomizer issue ... With new game in all 3 climats I saw farms with no fields, I saw fields with no farms, I saw farms near fields but not amongst the fields and I saw fields around a fruit plantation but these may have been generated with a remote farm.

Definitely, in the lost scenario, building the food plant generated the fields.

I can confirm this bug aswell. I beleive it is related to the New industries patch.

Not much more to ellaborate on though, Wally has described it in pretty much exact detail.

Yeah, I had iron ore mines with nice fields all around them. Did look quite odd.

In my case it was a food plant which almost made sense, like big business was trying to cut out the poor farmer. Sometimes this game gets a little too realistic

Not to worry ... we've got a workaround until you get a chance to fix it. Keep the good stuff coming. :D We realy like your work. Hehe ... maybe alongside bribes for the town officials, we could have subsidies for the farmers.
