80 tracks station

I have made a layout,how a 80 trackstation could be build.
I made it all flat ,just to see how it should work.
There are 6 rows of platforms,so they all need there own heightlevel.
This gives also more room for the turns to the platforms, and signals can be placed.
I'll hope it works when all is stacked above eachother.
Loading times will increase enormous, but with somuch platforms to choose that will not so importend.
I'll give it a try

The first level of my 80 tracker is ready.
5*3 platforms feeding the factory with chemicals.
Left in front there are planned 5 layers across.
The second level i'm gonna make is for loading the goods.
To be continued.

The second level is now build.
Had for a moment trouble to enlarge station to the south\west.
At the 10th platform a got "station to spread out".
I temporally enlarged platform 9 to the south\east for say 6 tiles.
in this way the stationname gravitated to the centre.
Now i could complete the 15 tracks.
removeds the helping platforms.
Still going on to level 3.

Good grief holy [insert 5 cursing words here] camoly.
You should have a lot of cash to build this one I suppose.

No. i was allmost bankrupt.
This is a scenario build by Punar called "Gigantic Station Scenario".
The 3th level i will use for incoming steel.
There for i first have to built an coal, ore and steel economy in the north.

Level 3 is ready.
Steel production has started and the factory delivers far above 3000 tons now.Performance is now 100%, so money isn't the problem anymore.
Slighty dificult to place signals now. When you accidently place them on lower level they are hard to remove again.
As you see the 15 tracks for goods can handle it easy.
I have still 3 chemical works doing nothing so they may serve the 4th level.

If it were Alzhiemers then you would have forgotten the other stations were there and just built on top.
Man, you better hope like hell that you don't have to select or place a train on the bottom level in there.

Just imagine if someone manages to crack the 80 tile station size limit.
Just make sure your PC has plenty of RAM
ChevyRider, is this monster station possible without the concrete bridges?

Yes, in fact it would be easier.
I only used it because it is more fragile and you can look through it a little bit more.
But it is much harder to put the signals on the small tracks.
For the slopes it doesn't the matter, cause most trains aren't longer then 4 wagons.
My pc has 1 Gb ram, but i think 512 Mb will do.

This is level 4.
chemicals are coming up.The factory is on his max.7905, but transport of goods can better.
On the moment 60 tracks are ready, just 20 to go.
The next 15 tracks are ment for the goods again.

Wow, great station chevyrider!!
I allready designed a 60-70 track station on paper a few days back with some similar ideas, but haven't had time to start the challenge yet myself. Seeing how complex your station is getting, it's starting to scare me that I might not even have the courage to try
Is it allowed to ask how many gameyears have you been playing by now?

This is level 5.
This was a pain for the eyes building it.
Because it's not really 3D the platforms of level 5 look as big as them of level 2.It is better to use the closed concrete bridges instead of the open slope version, so that you can't see downwards.I had to turn the world often 90 and 180 degrees.
I started at grondlevel 5,now i reached 45 meters so the last 5 platforms come on 55 meters, and i can still use normal bridges.
Re: Punar,
As you see it's now 1946 in your build scenario
I started in 1900, but the steel production stays low with only 4 coal mines ans 4 ore mines.
There for i had to do acc.time to become enough cargo for that monster.
I also used the autohotkey tool from Scrat to build the tracks, saving me of RSI.
So within 40 years i think you can built this.
75 platforms now,still going on

This is level 6,the last one....
I MADE IT....
80 platforms, and the good trains are waiting for more'
I added 5 more tracks on the top for chemicals delivery.
Some chemical works deliver their max of 3069 tons, and i can still hold them on 100% transport.
You can see the the factory delivers its max with 7905 tons,so i decided to place an other one.
Now something strange occured.
The first fac.Deltaville got no delivery anymore but held its max output!!
The new factory took over and gave also max output.
You can see in the grafic that that the goodtransport raised dramaticly.
Who can explain this?
I took me 52 years for this, some times in acc.mode to icrease the money and the goods.
284 trains are running now.

Wow this is amazing! Could you post a safegame so I can view it all moving?
I'd need the dutch trainset I presume?
Anyway, this is quite inspiring to start playing this game again. But first I gotta make a e-marketingplan which has te be handed in tomorrow. But tomorrownight the trains will be rolling again!

you've done this very well chevyrider
I'd decided to make a big station to.. well not that big (80 tracks

) mine has just 16. but i wanted to make it small.. and i did well i think... every thing is working.. not jet in busniss but i tested it all..
some screenshots:
But you're station is simply amazing

i'm wondering how you get 3000 tons of iron ore on a station

never had that
