Train not entering depot

Just updated to a41 and found this "bug".

This MP54 doesn't want to enter any depot. Actually it enters, then it reverses and it stops. :? I've tried building other depots, but it still refuses to do what I order.

It also has a pretty strange behaviour. All the other trains work perfectly.

Is it possible you built a non-electrified depot? Then it would be normal for an electrified train not to be able to enter the depot.

no, it's a bug in latest Patch, trains can't enter depot near a crossing

Shadow, I just tried what you said, I built a line 40 (fourty!) squares away from the nearest crossing. It still doesn't work. :(

Already did, not luck. BTW I resolved the problem by crashing the train far away the cities to avoid problems with the local authorities. The new train now enters the depot without any problems...

The problem appears to be in lines that have no signals at all. Try building a signal anywhere (even if it's in a sideline that doesn't go anywhere).

I also had the problem with a train entering a depot and then half coming out again before stopping. I have tried putting a signal in and this cured the problem. I also have a problem where a depot is next to a station with three platforms and a train wishing to go to this depot gets stuck at the signal before the entrance to the station even though there are no other trains in the area. I also sometimes get a crash between this train and the next train coming down the line which seems to think that the line is not in use.

It aready has to have a service every 150 days or do I have to send it to the depot before I send it to the station. It does not happen every time sometimes it stops at the signal, turns round, goes back to the next signal, turns round and then goes to the depot okay, in this case the following train does not hit it either. Seems to be a random bug.

AHA. Yes, that is my experience too. I'll try putting in a needless signal to see if it fixes the problem. Any idea what the bug is?
