If you install TTD Alter, and modify TTDX.exe file (DOS version), you can play TTD Patch with the modified vehicle.
If you reuse TTD Alter, the new modifications work only with TTDX.exe original, not with patch.
Edit:
You must delete TTDLOAD.OVL to use the new modifications with TTD Patch.
