Is anyone creating any Australian scenarios? I am currently doing a map of South Australia. Its still in its early stages. Its a pity that only Alpine, UK & USA landscapes are on the game. If anyone is doing any other states or the whole map of Australia, good on you.

Well, so be it

thanks for pointing out, never noticed it before
Although i havent used scenario creator much anyway, but what it seems, it only works well on randomly generated scenarios, so it doesnt work with making replicas of real locations...
What it created was very similar to what Australia is realy like. (sand near ocean, then mountains then the sandy plains in the middle and so on)

Well theres Mek's and and the other persons map generators that create terrain from heightmaps, but then you got to go back to object selection after loading the landscape and select the australia sub-climate and lay down all terrain textures you want in places you want, and towns and industries..

I've got a inner sydney map done and works great (in my opinion!).
North to Hornsby.
East to Bondi/Cronulla/Pt Botany.
South to Sutherland
West to Strathfield
The North Shore, North Coast, Illawarra (including the Bondi section!) , Bankstown, Inner West, Airport/East Hills, South Line (via Granville to Campbelltown) and Western line are all buildable, along with the major freight lines too.
I also have a Sydney to Goulburn line in the works. I'm just having a test play with it now to see if everything is ok. The following stations are on the map....
Central
Strathfield
Campbelltown
Macarthur
Menangle
Douglas Park
Picton
Tahmoor
Bargo
Yerrinbool
Mittagong
Bowral
Bur-rraaa-dooo!
Moss Vale
Exeter
Bundanoon
Penrose
Wingello
Tallong
Marulan
Goulburn
There are also major areas such as Bondi, Horsnby, Sutherland, Waterfall, Airport, Woolongong and Port Kembla.
It is also possible so the line from Moss Vale to Woolongong can be built.
There are large deposits of coal at Hornby to represent ex-Hunter/Fassifern coal which goes to Pt Kembla. Large grain fields at Goulburn to simulate grain ex-Junee/Cootamundra/Stockinbingle.
Will post screenies of the map tommorow night.

Also they run to a much later time table to that printed in the books.
