Alternate landtiles (Desert, snow, etc.)

A graphic artist made a bunch of landtiles some time ago, can they be included anywhere?

Ok, but what happened to the planned desert climate for Simutrans?

The original author disappeared and noone continued the scenario. Only very few images had been painted.
I've got a set of "winter" or "arctiv" style images. It's rather big, but since about two years, maybe longer, it has no maintainer anymore. If someone wants to create a new sceanrio, maybe the winter scenario is a better starting point than the desert scenario.
I can send the images if someone wants to continue the winter scenario. I also have a bunch of DAT files for it, but I assume they are out of date and need some adaptions.

I think I saw a few sprites for the desert climate, can I have them?
Same goes for the snow one

I've sent my latest set of the winter images as private message. It's very old, indeed.
I don't think I have a copy of the desert images.
