City and stuff

Ok, so I'm am old TTO player and wanted a new and improved version.
So I just got back into the game VIA Locomotion last week and here are a couple of problems.
I'm playing th 100 year deal and my first town just got an office building. Finally something that accepts good, food, and mail, but wait there is no demand for it. So I check my station range and it hits the building. Maybe not good enough so I rebuild to cover the building but still nothing. My building says it takes the stuff but the station won't.

Next I have
A---------------------B----------------------------C

I have routes C to B and that's it. Why won't my trains turn around at B everytime and head back to C? A lot of times they stop at B then move right along to A before returning to C.

A---------------\
\----------------------B
--------------------\--------------------C

Why would my trains on a route of A to B bypass be and go to C when there is nothing blocking their way? Is this just back AI path finding?

Lastly I have notices that signals places on large bends do not seem to work. I allways have to remove them and find the next peice of straight track to place them.

1.) The office buildings accept fractions (in eigths) of the four cargo types. In order for the station to accept said cargo, you need to have fractions totaling 8/8s.

2.) For some reason, CS removed the ability to have consists automatically turn around at stations.

3.) Not sure.

4.) Signals placed on large curves do work. However, since the large curve is, well, large, the consists need to pass through the whole track segment before the signal in question will clear.

3) They should turn at the station. Try changing there route from ocal to express.
