How about putting all the locos and rolling stock in one, town name add-ons in another, etc? Would make things a bit easier. :)

How about just stuffing it all in one website, where it's easy to read, editable by anyone and saves moderators time!

Oh wait, i did

Very funny Steve!

Nice job on that wiki site, by the way. I haven't been to these forums in a while (for some strange reason I've gotten hooked again on X-COM UFO recently), and that is a great way to become "refreshed" on all the new mods.

You havent got the Tramwagon which I think is a good mod or the UAC Turbo Train which is also a good mod.

There is a sticky explaining the Wiki.

If you want a decent forum thread showing all the releases, you need to edit the first post to put everything together. This is giving an extra job to the moderators or the post creator.

The Wiki also provides other links, space for further descriptions and such, which, in my opinion, is much better. And once you sign up, you can easily add your own stuff to it. Anyone who has the time to create such pieces of art, has time to sign up and post.

If you see people who don't.. moan at them. In the end, it's only taking publicity away from them.

Well, being a forum mod and a webmaster myself, I don't see the big deal. Perhaps I'll just add a page to my site with links to all released items.

That's the point of a wiki!
If the author is too lazy to do it, someone else can.
In general, I think a wiki is a much better alternative than a sticky message post. That way you don't need to wade through garbage postings to get to the meat. On a wiki, you just keep the meat.
