BTW, are you into model trains and stuff? Thought you might be judging from your pictures. (I have built a 1,5 x 2,5 metres Märklin system with landscape and everything.. Long time ago, but still cool! )
And I take it that you're Norwegian too - gooday to you!
I think in order to do this, you would need to add another tile that would have to be placed manually at the end of each track. One option would be to add it like a station block, but I'm not sure how you stop a train actually driving through it though. The alternative would be place it as just some random tile of some sort. Not entirely sure how would go about making one though...
In my opinion: It's not possible, because of the limitations of the engine. You might could add a new type of signal that looks like a stopper but that's all i think is possible (and it'd be stupid)

It should probably be an entirely different track type, even if it has only four different pieces. Otherwise you'll get trains running into and through the buffers; only if it's a different track type can you stop them from entering that tile.

I don't argee to this, because if you make a track with a deadend trains just slow down and stop before they fall off. Maby its possible to let the game place a bufferblock on every deadend.

True, but they stop at the end of the track, not before the buffer. So they'll run through the buffer first.... unless it sits on a tracktype the train can't go on, which was my point.

"i agree whole fartethly", and i think this is something that should be made. it can just be a "building" that looks like a piece of rail with a block-thingie on it. easy? yes, very easy, in principle. if it'll work in reality is a different thing, but it's something worth checking out, isn't it?

This might sound stupid but its working on the principles of the last post, do it as a building but put it in the fence section so it would b like putting a fence or a wall at the end of the track, if it works, well that is a different matter but who knows
