Well some people asked for a Alpine scenario, and... I did one
Note that everything in this scenario is Handmade, SO YOU GOD DAMN APPRECIATE MY WORK!

edit: Singaporekid, you should have asked me first! shame on you 8)

a few screens:

A hover dam

A beautiful valley

edit: this is version 1.5: all misplaced one line streets are gone, and I did some minor improvements in some towns (like the church in Crux Rouge)
This version of the scenario comes without enemys, if you want one with it, just ask for it

Cant we just load up the scen editor, click load and flick through the screens until we find the ones with enemies on?

You can't just take someone elses work, modify it and then release it yourself with a higher version number...

I completed it. 8)

Spoil the fun?

The worst violation of doing this (re-releasing someone elses work without persmission) was with the maps "as-hellbenderrace" for UT2004.

A man with a very good vision made some maps which were basically a load of platforms to race around in.

New maps based on this idea were made. thats all gravy. baby.

A man (called skaarj if i remember corrctly) took hellbender race and add pretty graphics, and weapons. and changed the map. and added a scorpian to each team. and a tank. Then released it as "as-hellbenderrace_skaarj"

This is one of the most despised things to happen in the UT modding scene. The original author's vision was to have only one weapon on the whole map. Skaarj had added redeemers. A LOT of them.
Problem is is that no-one realised that this version was actually unofficial until it had actually become more popular than the original.
Understandably the original owner went nuts but could do noting but watch as more and more people stole his map, just changing the graphics, weapons and vehicles.

My point is that while you may not see the problem in releasing someone elses work, it is definatly polite to pm and e-mail the new file to the original author for permission to release it.
