well i'm not bothered really, its just funny how it happens just like that

'cause one minute i was replacing my aircraft and getting new trains... then i tried replacing an engine and the red box came up saying that i need such amount for this, then i looked at me cash and took the screenshot and posted it here so you get the same humor as i did

only a minuite or 2 it was servicing 4-6 mines? the only real problem was i made my blocks for shorter trains. so my up ramps were spaced a bit close for such a long train. if she slowed to much they would slow to 15mph on the hill. that was fine for testing i wanted to see the wheel slip.

Thanks to Plastikman, I have completed my Chicago Transit Authority "El". Here are a few screenies, meant to be representative, not accurate. Here we are downtown in the "Loop" at the intersection of Lake and Wells Streets. A train of 3200's is Harlem bound on the green line, while the train of 2600's awaits its turn to execute the screeching curve from Wells onto Lake Street in purple line service

Left to right at the Belmont Station:
2400's loop bound on the brown line
2400's north bound to Howard on the red line
and 2600's north bound on the "Evanston Express" purple line

A train of 2600's southbound on the "Evanston Express" makes quick work of the train of 2400's stopping at Loyola on the red line

HOME!.. i was at both those stations today!...
i got on at sheffield & belmont then changed from a brown to an orange line at washington and wells. .. got 2400's both times. the orange line left the rear cab unlocked so i rode in it eating my pizza on the way home.
on the belmont photo. you might find your trains path better if you put 2 way signals after the interlocking for the purple northbound and the brown westbound there. make a pre signal so the train follow the correct route.
thanks for the shots, it is things like that make the mods worth it.
EDIT: oh posted a 3rd.. on the lake wells interlocking.. umm merchandise mart stop is missing.. and the river! coomon man it is not chicago without hte river.. ps toss a water taxi in there also
edit again. what scenerio is that? is that your or or sebastions or steve-o's? lol there are like 6 chicago maps floating around right now. most are fun so far... nice trains i forgot i made those! i only have a BART subway installed on my lomo ATM.

I had done this scenario myself many moons ago. I know I left out the river and some of the stations such as Merch-Mart. But I was just trying to get the "essence" of the el, and wasn't actually going for the accuracy part of it. I had to make major changes to the signalling and stations, because I was originally running two car default trains (EMU1, 2EPB) etc on it, until your cars became available. This was also the reason I was trying to get that flat deck bridge to work. I thought it would look more like the CTA without the heavy concrete work.

Nice shots peeps.
Well here's a few shots from the same game as i posted above.
Screenshot 1 shows the main depot for my lines and also a busy intersection for both freight, passenger and cross country lines.
Screenshot 2 shows where the bridge in screenshot 1 takes us, it takes us to Grimville Gold Coast, the busiest passenger station with many local, semi-express and cross country express and intercity services.
Screenshot 3 shows another intersection on the opposite side of the island which is busy with local, semi-express and cross-country trains running through it, there's not freight services down this part of the country yet.
