beautiful blue/grey train and carriages in your 2nd post of the set. As you said, the shadows need doing, but I think when there done, lighting wise they will be a perfect example to work to match. Really pretty.

This animation is based in APNG standard.
Are animated pngs supported?

In Firefox, yes.

It's clearly not for use in openttd, so that's beside the point.

Thanks.

APNG is not supported in OpenTTD. But It can be used in previews and screenshots.

Some trees with all zoom levels, the sprites was converted automatically.

And more. I will remove these files if the repository is updated.

These are the difference with z1 and z2 trees:

Very nice maquinista.

However in the second screenshot the light seems to come from the wrong direction while the shadows are correct. (Some trees not all.)

Other than that I prefer the crispness of the graphics in the first screenshot.
But it might just be me. Like they say in French :"Les gouts et les couleurs ..."
Maybe with the light corrected I will feel otherwise.

Yes, some trees have a wrong lighting. :( But the z1 and z2 sprites are very easy to made. :D

I have updated the power station.

The scaled sprites look so much better, good work!

maquinista: I'll download and look myself at some point, but not at this second. Therefore could you elaborate on the before/after. 'after' just seems to be the trees that were made before with incorrect lighting, lack of contrast and correct shadowing, and a rather different style to that of OTTD. Why have you reverted? There not compatible with the prerequisites for an official set, and I won't support there entry...

The trees should be rendered again with the correct lighting, but I don't have the models.

I was keeping up with the 32bpp replacement project for awhile using a 32bpp version of OTTD, but I gave up after awile. :| However, progress is going much faster than I could have imagined. Who knows? maybe by stable release 1.1.0 32bpp will be a base graphics set! :D

this seems to be the right place to post this:
mainly @ jupix: why are so few files included in the 32bpp stable nightly megapack build? its only about 9...

Do you mean the automated one? That's because the requirements for entry are so stringent; the files have to have all zoom levels, be in the correct format and have sources.
However, progress is going much faster than I could have imagined. Who knows? maybe by stable release 1.1.0 32bpp will be a base graphics set! :D
You wouldn't believe how little progress has been made (the graphics coming out right now are not part of a base set; indeed there is no compatibility for a 32bpp base set anywhere).
