Sneaking in my entry - there aren't too many yet, get yours in soon!
The beach at Vita Alore, Cindini - where a wide palm-lined promenade separates the boutique shops of the city from the swimwear-clad beachgoers, who watch buses and ships pass.

I could have sworn we got another entry but it's gone... I'll leave entries open for another day or two, see if we get enough. Otherwise this competition will have to continue through this month.

The idea with the screenshot appeared just three days ago. At first I thought about what I would like to show. And then decided to implement it.
Most importantly, I managed to do it on the last day :) . So in this time I will also take part in competition.

Visitors arrive through a tunnel to the beautiful resort of Twin Beaches nestled in the rolling hills between the blue waters of two lakes. Tour buses and ferries await or holidaymakers can relax at either of the two sandy beaches. You can practically hear the waves lapping at the shore.

I'm a bit late to post my screenshot but here it is :P

Costa Bianca is a city entirely built in recent years to satisfy the mass tourism of the Costa del Sol. Its beautiful white sand beach is dominated by innumerable hotels in large concrete towers that have removed the natural side of it but have allowed a wide capacity of accommodation during the beautiful seasons

I'm afraid you miscounted, there are in fact 7, which is plenty to get us going :)

And here are the entries:

Thought I be the first to go on vacation. I choose to go camping at a place called Cougal. Located on the North Coast Railway line in the far north of the State of New South Wales. The freight train is crossing Cougal Bridge as it heads north to Brisbane and soon to be traversing the Border Loop Spiral before entering Border Loop tunnel and into the State of Queensland. You find me in one of those tents.

The seaside town of "La Playa". Trains and buses bring in many tourists, especially in summer, while a tram takes them to nearby beaches. The town is also famous because of the lighthouse, the marina and restaurants by the waterfront.

Lake Baikal is the deepest in the world. The water in the lake is so clear that individual stones and various objects can be seen at a depth of 40 meters. Residents of different settlements, located both near Baikal and in other parts of the country, come to rest with great pleasure. The places are very beautiful and picturesque. You can visit the island of Olkhon, walk in winter on the ice of the lake, spend the night in a tent at any time of the year. Your journey will be remembered for a lifetime.

Even Captain Hook and his crew of ne'er-do-wells, brigands, bandits and pirates are in need of an occasional vacation and they found the perfect sunny spot, an uncharted island that sat astride the International Date Line at a juncture with the equator, with lots of sand under which to bury their ill gotten treasure, and so they dropped anchor in a sheltered cove on the tomorrow side of the date line.

Meanwhile, if they had ventured across the mountains to the yesterday side of the date line, they would have found a five star vacation resort with a sumptuous casino frequented by Big-Man Moneypenny and his crew of ne'er-do-wells, bankers, traders, cheats and scoundrels who appreciated the amenities of the convenient vaults of the local branch of The Bank of Off-Shore in which to bury their ill gotten treasure, all the while bathing in the fountain of youth and taking in the sun on a deserted private beach.

Obviously, as usually, all screenshots have some things going for them, but this time I just have to specifically single out le_harv's. That is one amazing shot!

I vote for the GarryG screenshot :D . I'll tell you honestly that the city theme sometimes very annoying. I want something that will be outside the stone jungle. Something more peaceful where we can rest and relax. This is the nature surrounding the settlements of people from all sides :)) . And I somehow liked this screenshot immediately, as I saw for the first time. That's the reason I voted  .

They all great screenshots and choosing isn't easy ..

Funny when think of it when people do go on a vacation .. comparing to where we live .. people in the country head to the cities and beaches.

People in the cities they drive for hours to another city and beach even if they already live near a beach .. was told by a friend who does that and he told me the water is wetter where he goes. And some city people head bush where it is peaceful and relaxing.

That is very kind of you. This one is very tough. A smaller pool but high quality makes it hard to choose.

I am seeing some merit to being unable to vote for yourself.

Hi. The buildings in Costa Bianca´s main boulevard and Costa Bianca Resort´s buildings, were manipulated or they are in a GRF file?

Hi, could you please not quote the entire screenshot post? It really messes up the thread plus it's hard to find what you're referring to. Feel free to quote a single screenshot though.

To answer your question, Chataigne replied a few pages back: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=74447&start=800#p1212398
