A-train 9 v5 buildings
You may have noticed that I have recently drawn some sprites inspired by A Train 9, but have some question for us.
Will I draw these houses in pictures in one tile or 2x2 tile in OpenTTD?
 Please give me some suggestions, thanks. :D

I think that they will need the space of a 2x2

Do yo mean that you will do each house on 1x1 tile or you will do them as group of houses on 2x2 tile?

I would say that the first option is most flexible, as you could then make different combinations and have more variety in the game.

But you may have to do some of the houses as 1x2 or 2x1 tile as some of them are long.

What kind of sheds are these?

I mean, the whole 2 story building is like 7px what is incredibly small in comparison to your other buildings that have normally 7px floors.

Yes, they are small because I want to make them feel very dense, like the buildings in Japan set.

I think I will redraw my detached house to fit these houses. :D

Fair enough, but you can do that without throwing out height consistency by reducing the distance between the buildings.

Also that part of Japan set is pure garbage in my opinion (well, it's not the only set that makes this sin) and makes it look just ugly - nothing that is really worth following directly.

I'm sorry, I'm heavily critical against the idea of half height buildings - it makes the game look really ugly in my opinion.

I think you can do a good looking dense area with proper height buildings - just keep them packed.

Great! I like how you included the Lawson so we can recreate the famous Mount Fuji scene in the game. Could you also add a 7-11 to the set as well? Missed Japanese 7-11s and Lawsons when I visited Japan some years back.
