ROAD STOPS & WAYPOINTS 3
- added new stations from Greyfur, Quast65, Andrew350, GarryG and me
- added new road waypoints - tolls, road signs, footbridges, sound walls, trees, lamps, tunnels etc.
- added road stops for suspension monorails
- added object category Road Stops Additions
- reorganized catergories between lorry and bus stations

I can't seem to see the updated waypoints, only the waypoints from the previous release are available.

I sent you grf file with name
busstops.grf. Delete it and replace with new one
roadstopsandwaypoints.grf. I think It could help.
Or - do you use JGR version 0.52.x?

Hello. Would it be possible to achieve the accessibility of stops by date? It's a little weird when modern stops are accessible as early as 1750. But that's just cosmetic, and I can choose a more suitable one myself that...
If the implementation would take too much time, don't say so

I very much dislike "time restricted" objects, stations and buildings. None of these are individually important in the game (unlike vehicles and industries), authors should allow players to be free with them.

In a private game, I'll agree with you in ca.80%, especially when the add-on doesn't have an option to disable this restriction. But in online games it realy makes sense. Keeps the appearance of the map reasonable and as expected. Otherwise, modern glass skyscrapers, built in 1800 by a reckless player, will look strange. Therefore, this restriction would make sense.
Also, I'd like to point out that all of your (great!) add-ons have no version designation (the exception is the station set).

With the view of older versions turned on (which is sometimes necessary), it is not known which version of your add-ons is the latest and which is the oldest. Usually it's the one at the bottom, but it's not the rule. Memorizing all the exceptions in a list that has more than 1,500 items is no fun. Many authors make this mistake, but it's just a nuisance and makes the entire add-on list look horribly chaotic. Maybe one day the devs will sort it out like they did with the tags on the online contents, but if they do, it won't happen anytime soon. So please use some versioning method (v001, 1.0.1, 1.0a, ...) and stick to it for next release.

You have to rewrite or replace previous File if you download it from forum. I Don't have this problem and I check much more updates than you

I agree .. but also agree what some players like being a bit more realistic.
Wonder if they could be displayed in the Object Selection Menu the year objects become available.
At the bottom of this menu is displayed the type of house.

Station Masters House.
What if the coder knows the year that building became available he could display it as
Station Master House 1920
Then that should satisfy all players if want to build early or at the correct year.

Time restrictions are part of the game, they make things more interesting.

Yep .. it something us coders might concider doing. Be good idea if we know when some objects was actually built in real.

Be aware, that this may take up extra Object-IDs!!!
EDIT:
Each additional text uses a TEXTid, of those you can also only have 255 in a GRF
If you use 4 (for each view) per object, you run out of your 255 per GRF really quick!
I choose to not use that feature (or use it very scarcely) because of that in my GRFs

Its not for everyone thou. I personaly dont like it at all, since you can always chose the ones you want or these which does fit your time period and still have available other ones.

Turns out I haven't updated mine to 0.52 yet, how do I do that? I'm still on 0.47

Just to get a few facts straight ...
These text strings are defined in the D0xx-Range; each GRF can have up to 1,024 of them [0xD000 - 0xD3FF]. You only need ONE per Object, not per View. You can also use the same string [TextID] for multiple objects, if the text is the same.
I use them a lot and have never run out of them ...

1) Download the, relevant to your system, patch-pack from
here.
2) UnZip the lot, make sure you maintain the folder structure.
3) Make a copy of your current version (just in case).
4) Copy the lot on top of your current version. There are about 130 files; make sure they go into the right folders.

So, if you have this one:

You can just continue with:

?
And in NML, you can just keep on going and you will get a warning when you reach the 1024th string?

A minor error crept in
At the second stop, facing east - west, this error will not appear.
It is a station from AUZStations
