Looks nice but the locomotive seems narrower then the coaches. I also think the blue band (not the butter!) should be smaller. Should be easy to make a Koploper next

. In other words: keep up the good work, Broodje!

Actually, from what I've seen of them, most of them had wheels illustrated as a single strip of random grey pixels at the bottom (except the steam locos)

Hmm, dutch train wagons provide power, this is a problem in TTD couse the mark between train or engine is power.
What should we do

- leave them without power.
- make them like engines and let them provide power (makes you sick off pressing <ctrl>)

just make the trains' power come from the engines, but paint the powerline-connection thingies on the wagons?

Engines are the front and back part of the set I say. Trying to draw the pantographes is nice but you won't see it in the game. CS didn't do it either (check the SH16/17 for example).

the problem with giving power that way is that it isnt real

, if you use 4 cars (thus plan-T) you should get 4000 hp (duno what it should be) and if you only use 2 (plan-V) you should get 2000Hp.

Plan V (the short one) has 700kW of continious power, Plan T (the longer one) has 1400kW of continious power. Top speed is the same: 140 km/h (that's the officially allowed maxium speed).

You'le need separate engines then...

Or have each engine look like a carriage, and give them 350kW each.

Something is wrong in broodje's reasoning. What's the difference between a Plan V and the Plan T? The 2 middle carriages! But that will just be two passenger carriages that change their look when fitted into a Plan T! In the NFO you can write whatever you want: 1400kW or 700kW and still make them go 140km/h each!

I'll make it seperate engines, like this:
Plan V: Only engine 700kW, 140kph
Plan T: engine + wagons (override) 1400kW, 140kph

If you need any other data, I'll gladly help. What I thought you might want to have is this:
Plan T: built in 1964; 1400kW, max speed 140; 42 1st class seats, 230 2nd class seats (combined 272 seats

).
Plan V: built in 1964 (that's not true, I'll find the correct date soon); 700kW, max speed 140; 24 1st class seats, 118 2nd class seats (combined 142 seats).

Broodje found out that the plan V (mat 64) was green at first, I decided to make the grf file change livery in the year, but we could not find out when this happens, anyone knows

I'll get back to the colour scheme later, Dinges. The proper introduction year for Plan V is 1966. I've also found weights of both trains:
Plan T weighs 167 ton and Plan V weighs 85/88 ton (make it 87

).
About the colour scheme's: between 1953-1958 the colour scheme was
blue(see top pic) for electric locomotives,
green with yellow stripe for electric trains and
light-blue for diesel trains. Then, in 1968, they came with the famous yellow colour for all the trains.

thanks, nice dates
for the drawers to draw this
had to post this for my insurance:
1953 = 21
1964 = 2C
1968 = 30

Note that the light-blue for diesel trains was quickly replaced by red. I'll try and find images later to give an impression.

ah tnx hyronymous, I was looking for that. did you find other pictures of old livery? for example, how did mat64 when they were intoduced? did they have the same blue line over the windows as mat 54 (hondekop)? by the way, there also was a red livery, I saw a picture somewhere from a hondekop in that colours.
/edit oke you already answered the red livery problem

Please answar, so I can continiou
EDIT: Here is the plan V, it will be able to change livery, use the second set off sprites for that (which are now the wagons).
It will be released somewhere in 1964-1966. Till 1968 it will carry this livery. The statistics aren't correct yet, those will be done when somebody gives me the sprites
It uses vehicle ID 0C, this is the dash. If you load it after the DBset it will be fine
Anyone can make some sprites
