We'll sort that once we've got a site. At the moment, I'm getting annoyed with PHP's silly file handling routines... I think I may well create a CGI binary to do the work involving reading SV1 files. Alternatively, a PHP extension may be needed... hmmm... *goes off to think*

well, I think I would post a special map. I am sure that it is very difficult, and all of u will hate my map...

my map do not contain any goods processing industry, just towns and primary industry ( like farm ), if u wanna make $ from transporting goods, you should:

1: wait for a new goods processing industry construction.
2: build the industry by ur own.

The map will encourage user transport human to make a big $, that is fun.

Hey, orudge, could u make something like a "map reader" for the web? Like the map in the game, but without the game... :D And it could be wonderfull if in the same map we have the industry-colour, company-colour and the latitudes... I don't know if I asking for an impossible, so, let me know...

And BobXP, can u make a special autosave in the app at the limit date, with a message in the red window like "Time over. Game saved"? Well, surely there are many people who lost the date and saves five years later, and maybe their last saved game is in 1980...

Impossible - all I could do is do a RAM dump, which would result in an extremely large file containing not only the raw game data but also loads of non-related data. However, I could get TTDPSApp to scan for games called 'AUTOSAVE' and back them up. Though ATM I can't get the date at which it was saved.

oh... well... we´ll pay attention to the date, then! :D

BobXP ... there is only 1 thing .... to set allowed EXE's and CFG's and we need a program that will check them and if it will be ok then it will start TTDPatch and it will load map (better map will appear then) .. and after saving a map map will be encrypted by this tool ... to play map again you will have to start game via this tool (it will check again) if ok then it will decypt map file, if not it won't .... after quitting TTD it will encypt map again ... ... and so on ... so on

Slow down, I can't understand what you're saying. :? :!:

ok .. so we need a tool that not allow user to run map if there will be wrong EXE or/and wrong CFG file ...

and we also need a way to avoid saving game and then running it with other CFG settings or/and other EXE (or modified)

so what are you suggesting to get maximal security .... (funny ... security for playing TTD)

That is something I was planning on including - a map (or maybe multiple maps). If you look at this page, this is something I knocked together earlier. It decompresses a saved game (NOT scenario) you upload, and gets various bits of information on it. If you upload a game that uses sign cheats, it'll list the ones used. There's a lot more information I can get out of the saved games - that's just the information I've made it show so far. Obviously, the final site will have everything nicely presented.

Well I remember there was a scearnio, it wasn't a long time ago, where there were only secondary (and for steel  goods, tertiary) industries, there was also a website, where one guy posted all his progress on it, up to about 2010 (or something), screenshots and everything... :D

today I am trying to make a very hard TTDX scearnio.
it have max number of tiny cities, but there is no industry. YES!!! no industry!!! I should try to transport passengers to make $, but fail since the cities are too small.

If you wanna know what does it be, just use hard difficulties to create a new scearnio, make the map hilly, then random many many many cities. finally random some trees. Then u can start play it. you will be crazy when u realize that each cities have only 50+ peoples. you may need to wait 2 month for 1 passenger.

I know how to make it harder

just fire up the editor then save try to build on water with no towns  Although that would make it impossible

This was brought to you byCannot remove obstacles on land

If you do that and the game tries to build an industry, it will crash.
