I wouldn't mind being in the next game too at anypoint after 1950, but I wouldn't object to sitting out if someone who is not in the current game wanted to play.

It's Britain actually, you missed an 'I' out.the poll at the top of this page wrote:Britan (eg UKRS, British Town Names, RV's on Left, etc)
Well, remember it's still first come first served, so I'll open it up again when the next game starts. So, while it's nice to see expressions of interest, I'd rather leave it open until the next game begins.aahz77 wrote:I updated the list of future participants on page 4 (4th post from the bottom). Raichase, would you please be so kind and include that list in your first post on page 1? Just so that it is easier for everybody to see who's in for which round and who is preferring which setting, which decade etc.
Yeah, I knew that, but misinterpreted it so that "reservations" could be made. But as you can see, there were quite a few of these "I will participate in a future round" posts, and I doubt that everyone who wrote such a post is aware of the fact that he or she has to repeat that post when a new round they want to play in starts.... Or am I completely wrecking things up where there is no pitfall??Raichase wrote:Well, remember it's still first come first served, ...
I guess you know that people can change the post per page option. (a link to the post is more useful)aahz77 wrote:.....s on page 4 (4th post from the bottom)....

Thats my fault - I said that people who haven't already played get a first look in, but it's still done when the next game starts - so, I'll post again saying "anyone who hasn't played yet, please request timeslots", then after a couple of days, I'll throw it open to the folks that played in this round we're in now.aahz77 wrote:participants have to apply again when the round is announced
So.. I have to request again?Raichase wrote:Thats my fault - I said that people who haven't already played get a first look in, but it's still done when the next game starts - so, I'll post again saying "anyone who hasn't played yet, please request timeslots", then after a couple of days, I'll throw it open to the folks that played in this round we're in now.aahz77 wrote:participants have to apply again when the round is announced
Sorry for the confusion!

Rai and DanMack played until 31st Dec 1929 / 1939 respectively, Singaporekid until 1sr Jan 1950. So DanMack and Singaporekid have both played 10 years, Raichase only 9 years (becuase the game starts 1921, he couldn't possibly play 1920). So what's the matter?m3henry wrote:Singaporekid!
the savegame you posted is 1st jan 1950! you still have 1 year of play left with scuddles and .co!
I pm'd m3henry, so hopefully we can get things going again!aahz77 wrote:Rai and DanMack played until 31st Dec 1929 / 1939 respectively. So DanMack and Singaporekid have both played 10 years. So what's the matter?m3henry wrote:Singaporekid!

I'm strongly reminded of that millenium start discussion....
