owwwh! I liked your old buffer sprites. uniformity is not a railway trait...

m3henry: did you? well thanks :D anyways, they were too simple, and wouldn't be noticeable enough in certain tiles, so I decided BornAcorn's woult fit better.

Talk about Born Acorn: here is a new set of sprites. Most of them are from Born Acorn's freight stations, but I used elements from the industrial set and the harbor/container set too.

Oh my, I love the sheds on the fourth row down, excellent!

I should send you over some sprites I was kicking around for my set of goods stations I was drawing, see what you can do with them :).

I love Born Acorn's designs; what I did was just add some details and Company colors.

Sure, if you can send me those sprites, I'll check them out!I like a lot your city station set too :D

the big thing about yard/siding area, is that the nessecerity for intricate and strong buffers are low, as generally the speeds are kept very low and costs spent on them are also low.
but to me the buffers alo blend in the most with TTD.

nice facilities, though will the crane on row 7 be able to span many tracks?

Great work on these updates! Hope to see them in-game sometime soon.

Thanks everybody!!
I have to admit that I am already wanting to see the sprites in-game (also because there might be parts to be corrected)

I'll talk to the coders, meanwhile here are 2 more parts: the wood platforms (thanks Born Acorn!) and a new building for the facilities section.

You are whipping Michael Bluncks ass here. Keep going damn it!

I wouldn't go that far, but I'd certainly say your graphical ability is certainly starting to reach the level of MB's stations. This stuff is looking really nice Sanchi :)

woah there!  Thank you a lot!
But I reccomend getting prepared: we have seen around the forums some shots of Michael's new work in stations which includes freight and industrial stations, and it is going to be lightyears away from this ;) ... and you know it

(to our benefit :D)

We'll see. It may be pretty, but, if it isn't user friendly it isn't really any good. Your previous station set was marvellous. These seem to be getting very good. If you can keep the good consistency in the coding, and make sure they are easy to use, you'll have one awesome set.

That, is, all. ;)

May I suggest you darken the bright brown of the logs, as it seems to make big contrast (cartoonist)?

I'm going to be a little bit busy this summer... Indeed, I have been away more than I would...
Anyhow, here is an small update for the set: the new livestock tiles, they come with:
- pig yard
- cattle platforms
- cattle sheds
- milk tanks

I will try to keep updating this, but I can't be as often here as I used to

I sure hope that your coders are putting this stuff together as you go along. If not, they'll have their work cut out for them when you're done.

Indeed, I'd like so much to see some of the already done parts working...
but coders are rare in the TTDPatch world; and we are left to wait until some decides to come in and lend a hand. Aegir and Death were the ones that have been collaborating with the Spain and Japan sets lately, but now they both are quite busy too, so we can't count on a schedule.
The worst part of it is not only that people can't use the sprites (which is bad too) but that the progress is slowed, since I can't see the sprites running in the actual game, and realizing what else could be added, or needs fixing.

Actually, the same happened with the old Harbor/container station: the sprites were hanging there for a while; and then, one day Oracle suddenly stepped forward, coded it, and zap! it was done. However, the new shipyard and deck never made it to the game, since no one coded it anymore since, and Oracle was absent from the forums until recently.
The same happened with the Dutch trains set, which was finished for quite a long time, and didn't see the light in quite a long time.

So, the only thing I can do is leave the sprites here, keep them updated, and wait until someone of the coders has spare time and is wanting to take the job (job which is far from easy)

Anyways, here are the basic platforms, with ramps and buffers.
By the way, lifeblood: if you are still wanting to join in, you can start adding snow to the currently finished sprites :))

 Your work is amazing. Yesterday I was reading a newspaper and it had some photos of the 2 major ports of my country. So this opened my appetite, and your post came right in time! Pity I don't have a cable to connect my phone to the PC and upload. I noticed that you made new cranes that expand beyond 1 tile. This I was considering too, and in the newspaper there was a photo of a big crane. Also rails are missing from the big cranes. I mean not for trains but for the cranes to slide. Α tile with rails and a few containers - so they do not hide the rails would look very nice.

I searched with google, but in vain. Latest issues are not in homepage of newspaper. I found another photo from another newspaper but quality is very bad.
