I tried to be positive, there are 68 million Turks, and a poll showed that 50% wanted to go to Western Europe, but to make things more positive, I kept it on 10 million. I'm no racist either, but there are too much Turks here already. 60% of Amsterdam's inhabitans are foreigners already (not only Turks), and the most popular name for newborn boys in the big cities is Muhammed.

Saying that in Belgium is considered rascist
Honestly, you can't talk about such topics here or you get a lot of opposition

They were all facts, except for the 60% of Amsterdam are foreign, it's 60% of the schoolgoing people is foreign (or have foreign parents).
The AEL, they are rascists.

We have a lot of people from Asia in our country, but most of them don't bother to learn english, or Australian way of life...
I don't have anything against Asian people, just the people that want to live here as if they were still in Asia...

Same thing here, most of the thousants of immigrants don't want to learn about Dutch culture and language and the Dutch people can't be bothered either. They prefer Hollywood. It makes me sad.

I prefer learning about foreign culture, it's more interesting, you already know your roots to some extent, and the history classes you do when you're about 8 all about kings and queens several hundred years ago just aren't interesting!
Happy to be an European citizen

Ah, what a lucky we are to have intelligent Germany and France leading European politics, separated are too small compering too the huge USA and other countries but united are the EU engine.
I don't know if i'm pro o contra for a war in Iraq but I think there will be a war anyway. Iraq has the second biggest store of oil and this fact counts so much that the world powers can change the disposition.
When the war then?
28th Februar or a month later, I hope I'm mistaken...

We only want to wait till friday for the report of the inspectors

Yeah well they're probably stoned...

j/k (lilman)
But anyway spiff, they can't really stay angry at you... not if they want to wage war on Iraq...
What? I've never smoked pot! My sister has friends who do, but that's beside the point. Stoners are always funny though. There are kids in my school (6th-8th grades) who dip, though. I think Marijuana should be legal; the only reason it's a "gateway drug", is because it's illegal.
...that was completely pointless.

Yeah well, isn't waging war on iraq? I mean just because they might have nukes and the US doesn't want anyone else but them to have nukes... no offense lilman.

Another thing, Saddamie has threatenend to blow up the oil wells when they attack him
Woohoo, some more pollution won't harm us
Anyway, the English and American newspapers are really playing dirty now, I just read some headlines, makes me sick

I'ld rather be small compared to the USA then to pay French farmers.

So, you were just trying to be positive, right?
We have something like that here in Sweden too. Muhammed is a VERY popular name here.
Maybe in the "big" cities (our cities is much smaller than yours) it's 50% foreigners.
Our political party "folkpartiet liberalerna", who are liberalistic, wanted that every foreigner that come here must learn our language.
And almost all of the other parties just thought that was racistic.
I don't. I mean, if they don't learn our language, they have much more difficult to live here. And they can't get a fair job if they can't speak Swedish.

And if they don't learn our language, they'll just stick with each other and we'll be strangers in your own capitals.

We have a bunch of councils here in Sydney that are erecting (heh...) new signs with 2 languages on them - english and... one of the asian languages (i'm sorry, they all look similar), that includes road signs and so on... It's pretty scary.
I embrace our multiculturalism, but i think this is almost GIVING them the suburb...
