Shape is quite nice, a bit more shading to the front won't hurt (as light comes from above, the lower part of the front needs to be somewhat darker). Some extra details would be nice. Remember the right side is a bit lighter than the left side. Colors are different in the vies (seems to be green in \ and /, seems to be red in | and _). The thingies on the roof are centered in / and \, but they are in |. Perhaps increase them a pixel in _ view.

Nice start tho.

I recolored it a little bit, so they would be the same colors.. Some explanation about colors beneith the train. And Purno, I'll now start to work away your crits on the train.. And please note: The yellow on the front should be different than the one on the side, that's why it was lighter on the left side ;) And what sort of details were you thinking on?

EDIT: Is this better? (Pic 2)

Sorry for double post:

I've found this pic, and I did a paintjob for these colors.

DarkMast49 - there is - was... I've bloody deleted it! :|

There was a list of liveries for each thing. I've gone and bloody deleted it tho... Not happy.

EDIT: However, if you find the wikipedia page "British Diesel and Electric Locomotives" (or similar), and click on the Class 60, there will probably be an explanation of which liveries it has appeared in - you might have to read the whole article since a lot of it is embedded in the text.

Don't do liveries that have only appeared on say, 1 loco, unless they're famous. If you want some help, just PM me.

I'll try and find some (tomorrow :P)

Anyways, is the Loadhaul a livery that is/wave used more often?

Yes... Though the Wikipedia makes no suggestion of LoadHaul or Mainline liveries - but if you know they exist - and you've shown them to, then by all means keep drawing.

EWS is the main livery to draw.

The Wikipedia is not entirely useless, but it hardly qualifies as a real reference work. It is loaded with inaccuracies and is incomplete in many (most?) areas. There's no harm in using it, but for sure, other sources are much more accurate and reliable.

BTW, I took a look at the tracking site, and it's really coming along!

Guys, I drew a Class 66 and Class 58 for the Dutch set, I believe those engines were British, so if you're interested in the sprites, tell me.

Besides, I believe the Dutch 1500 was also British, but I don't know the class number it had in Britain.

There's definitely an EWS Livery.

Purno, can you PM me the 66? I wasn't going to include the 58 though, but we could change that.

That would be the EM2 (Class 77), mainly used on the Woodhead route.

Oh, and as for Class 60 liveries:

No.. It's a darker red, and the yellow stripe is a little darker.

It's also far too thick. Take a pixel off either side of the yellow line, I think.

Yesss :P... Can you do me a favour tho? Compare the two with one less line of pixels?

You don't have to post the other version, just see what it looks like?
