I have been thinking a bit about the stations and in general they look okay. So i want to create a set with a variety of stations a little bit like MB does too. This does not however include signalboxes (yet) Also most of my stations are stand alone buidlings next to the platforms (as most station are of course) Is that okay with you guys? Would you like some more in platform stations?

Anyway please post some comments on how to create the NL station set.

Thank you!

PS Amersfoort station is almost done! Just need to find out how i can use to create those fancy in game pictures....

No, off-platform stations are great with us if they're that standard :D however it would be nice if you included the base tile as a platform so we don't have multi-coloured platforms from using your stations with other sets. Your talent amazes me!

Yeah, looks very promising, although the round roof, doesn't cover the railway track, but only the platforms, IRL.

Well i suppose you mean the dark roof sprites designed for a station hall. Of course those cover tracks as well. (Amsterdam Central Station). The other station roofs are indeed just for platforms... Could you be a little more specific on where you think it needs a bit more work?

Furthermore, i have designed Amersfoort... the building looks allright, now i need to adjust the overpass a bit more...

As I said, the tracks are not covered in Amersfoort. Only where the overpasses are located.

EDIT: That upper image is a bit old, here's a newer one;

I see what you mean, but in fact the hall was not ment especially for amersfoort station. The platforms sprites are general for any station that might have them. And correct, Amersfoort doesnt have them. That is wh they arent in the Amersfoort picture. However now that you sent me those pictures i can probably work a bit more accureate on the overpass.

Amersfoort has two overpasses, the central one from the station hall, and another one (small one) at the end of the platform. That last one is shown on the pictures.

As discusses by PM, I'll see and look if I got some time to make pictures of the station :)

Cool. But the first one needs yet a little bit texturing, doesn't it?

The roof of the hall (lower picture) looks currently a little bit... erm... sorry, have forgotten the phrase... What I mean is: It needs a bit more dithering, e.g. like this:

Those platforms look so good! I suggest we use these as standard platform in the Dutch set. I will try to draw some station buildings too :)

Allright i will continue for a while working on the basiscs of those platforms. That way it is easier for you all to use them in your stations.

I will redo the station hall as well. Also it would be cool to have 4 instead of two vision for each station: street side two, platform side two. Takes a bit more time, but looks really cool!

Lets create a bit of a general outline for dutch stations:
Zimmlocks width and height guidelines, the platforms. (i will make some more variation) Timeline...

Well i will try to set up an excel file and add the drawn buildings in there as well as the available sprites...

It looks quite nice, but IMO, a nice cute luxioury cottage like this would need a bigger garden... But two tiles might be a bit too big for TT ... hm.... though choice. Great work anyways!
