There are things that are impossible right now, and there are things that will be impossible forever. This, I fear, is one of the latter. :( Oh well.

I don't think he would... I doubt that he will work for free ;)

He will not, this is for sure, but with the second part of your suggestion I do not agree

Well trerrierbly sorry to say that the second part is true there are only 1000 members here (1 quarter not even active) we could pitch in 30$ each but that is no where near enough to produce commercial software

30$X900=27000$ (we need hundreds of thousands or even millions :( )

I don't think praying is going to do much good.

Anyway, this thread is for suggestions for the patch, not talking about Chris Sawyer

I would like to see bridges over diagonal track.

At the moment I have to tunnel under these tracks, which takes up too much space.

Also over tracks with signals.

Both no way, there isn't any bit free for such a thing and would be very very complex to make possible -> impossible

Is there any way that a production level could be shown on the power station screen (the one after clicking the industry). The same sort of thing has been done with moretownstats to add details to the town info window. Is this possible?

------

Ninham Power Station

Requires: Coal
Production Last Month: 1000 kWh

(for example)

I heard that there is no space for that

Sorry, Space? I presume not physical space in the window. I can't see that it would take that much programming space but then I have never programmed.

I think it's not like programming, more like hacking.

As far as I'm aware it indeed replaces bits of the code by enhanced code, all within the 'natural' limits of TTD. But what is the use for the productivity rate of an electricity plant? It doesn't produce anything transportable, it's really an endpoint. I think I understand Shadow's reply: you have to create a standard depending on the amount of coal transported to the electricity plant. Say 720 tons of coal / month is 25% but you supply it with 3600 tons of coal / month. Will the productivity rate really be 120%?
