You don't have to be worry, your Serbian is understandable :D Are you born in Serbia?
Yes but I only stayed there till I was four years old.
But about prices... Nobody is satisfacted... For someone they are high, for someone they are low... I tried to compare prices with some popular sets and their rolling stocks. Due to fact that Serbian trains are weaker than trains in other countries, prices are lower as well. That's reason why you'll never lose game with this set
That's ok

I'll just set inflation beginning at 1880

It shouldn't be connected with trains in that case. :? Did you reported error to OTTD developers?

No, this happens with the Japan set too after version 6. and the Spain and CSD sets really screw up stuff

You should start even earlier with OTTD

It's probably some issue connected with OTTD development, if other sets did bugs too. Have you tried with Patch?

TTDpatch? no, I dont use that

Then it's better to report problems in OTTD section (in new thread or this thread), I don't know for OTTD developers are they read topics in Patch sections.

Hello

I've been playing with this set for quite some time now and there's three comments I want to make.

1)The player is unable to attach Passenger or Mail Cars or any type of wagon to the GOSA EMU limiting it to only 3 length and default capacity. I assume this is a bug
2)There are no wagons capable of carrying either passengers or post above the speed of 200km/h making the Pendolino useless.
3)There is no livestock car capable of going faster than 160km/h and the last two box cars have exactly the same stats. If its for eye candy you could make it a boxcar that varies as more are added

Hi :) Here are answers on your questions:
ever wrote:1)The player is unable to attach Passenger or Mail Cars or any type of wagon to the GOSA EMU limiting it to only 3 length and default capacity. I assume this is a bug
No, it's intended. That EMU really had only 3 cars in consist.
ever wrote:2)There are no wagons capable of carrying either passengers or post above the speed of 200km/h making the Pendolino useless.
It should be no effect on train speed with livery override. Have you made consist and noticed there is speed limit for it?
ever wrote:3)There is no livestock car capable of going faster than 160km/h and the last two box cars have exactly the same stats. If its for eye candy you could make it a boxcar that varies as more are added
I must check about speeds, it might be a bug. Same data for two boxcars (you're probably talking about Gas-z and Gabs-z boxcars) are real data.

thanks for the quick response!

I was using pendolinos in a game and noticed they weren't going too fast but that was because of the kind of track I have (very hilly, very curvy)

I just did a test and noticed that they do indeed go faster than 200km/h

Your comments on the EMU and boxcars explain things. The box cars are the only cars capable of carrying livestock though.

No problem. :)

That's right. In Serbia never were special livestock cars, ordinary boxcars with partition panels were used instead.

Hi there. First of all, great work, I like this set very much. A quick question: have you thought of expanding the set to include all trains from the ex YU?

Thank you very much for compliments! :D I'm sure you recognized lots of this rolling stock!

Unfoortunately, further expansion probably will not be possible, because there is no more free slots for new rail vehicles (I know, you'll be interested to include new Croatian speed trains in set). Other reason is that I stopped further developing of set long time ago, but if someone is interested in development, it's no problem for me. :)

Several years ago, when I still used to travel with trains, I travelled a lot in these wagons. They were probably better than the new ones we have today (and definitely SAFER, damnit!!!). :x
My idea is not only about Croatian trains - only a few differ. I thougth about everything that was used in Yugoslavia, SHS Kingdom and all the way back to the Austro-Hungarian Empire (after all, they built the first tracks all over the region).
Unfortunately, I have no programming skills so I can't help with that. :(
What I could do is research and find photos and info about the vehicles...

You don't really need programming skills. NFO can hardly be considered 'programming', a sense of logic and a basic understanding of mathematics is sufficient.

But then research work is quite important too if you want to create a set based on real life!

I understand this but the combination between me and computers... BAD idea!
FooBar, are you interested in giving a hand? I'm really up to finding all necessary data if somebody is willing to do the drawing/coding part of the job.

Well, I have (I think) all vehicles photos and data since first train in ex-YU. Problem is, as I said, that it's impossible to add more vehicles in set. At least in TTD version. It could be eventually possible to make addon set for OTTD and then use both in game. :)

For example, here are some locos I thought to include in set:

Hartman CS-1
Year of introduction: 1884
Max. speed: 55 km/h
cs1.jpg
cs1.jpg (15.39 KiB) Viewed 3413 times
Type 28 (all data are missing)
28-1.jpg
28-1.jpg (117.78 KiB) Viewed 3413 times
MAVAG 120
Year of introduction: 1906 (I even have sprites for this loco)
120.jpg
120.jpg (3.92 KiB) Viewed 3413 times
If someone is interested in further developing of this set, I could send all I have about all vehicles. :)

Me too. I have cca 20 trains with most stats, from 1860s till today.

IIRC, the JZ 28 is a former kkStB 80 class, and 28-006 (on display at Divaca, Slovenia) had been built by Austrian locomotive works "Wiener Neustadt" as number 5740 in 1922.

There are many different types of this engine which had been extensivly sold to East-European states: CSD 524.0, PKP Tw12, JDZ 28 (later 144), FS 477, OSE Kß, CFR 50.0, MÁV 520.5, as well as to some non-European countries, and to Germany (BR57.1, BR57.2-3, BR57.4)

Some stats (may slightly differ):

axle scheme: E (5-coupler)
pressure: 14 atm
service weight: 69.4 t
length: 17.28 m
speed: 50 km/h

HTH

Michael

Michael, you're living encyclopedia, as allways! :D

I could sent to you also vehicles I have, if you could please check stats for them?
