I really must say, that this is the best station project, I've seen so far. Just started a new game with no passenger transport and discovered the endless features of this set. Some years ago it took the most time to build a rails between the stations. Now it takes the most time to build the stations.
Even without the animations (using OTTD) an untopable work, so keep improving it.

Nice screenshots, i can see you have the 32 graphics, the only problem i hate is once you have built you station and then when you want to change it, the local authorites won't let you.

This is probably because when building your stations, you either removed some town buildings, removed some roads, or you built over trees. The Local Authorities don't like it when we do these things and they lower their ratings until they eventually reach "very poor" or "appalling". You need a minimum rating of "poor" in order to be able to build stations. Try planting some trees. The Local Authorities like that and after you have planted several trees, they will bless you with an improved rating. Another option is to bribe the Local Authorities, but this can be very expensive, and you might get caught. The third option is to wait until your ratings are restored. This may take a bit of time.

Yes, it makes we wonder how much time it took wallyweb to build some of his stations...

Thanks for the tip about the trees, i knew about bribing and waiting for the ratings to improve, i was just wondering if there was a quicker way of getting back up, thanks
Anyway here is my small attempt to use the platforms, for a first proper go after some practicing i think its pretty good

Now I'm curious.
What do you do to allow multiple docks per station?

Although it may look like one station, wallyweb’s docks are built using the TTDPatch
AdjacentStations feature.
OpenTTD 0.6.0 has a similar feature if you set "Stations: Allow building of adjacent stations" to 'On'. Use Ctrl while building a station next to an existing one and it becomes a separate station. A dock can then be built adjoining each of the separate stations.

Ah, so nothing more than an elaborate graphical illusion.
Oh well, I guess I can put up with my ships running over each other to use the one dock for my massive goods station then... at least until i can figure out a better system that doesn't bugger my trains.

can i just ask on that dock screenshot are the trains taking cargo from the docks which are being left by the ships (or the other way round) rather than dropping of and picking up from a industry

The harbour in that screenshot has several piers (docks), each of which is dedicated to a different cargo. That harbour services a farming area and ships pick up products. There is another harbour across a sea where they unload at the end of their journey.

Thanks everybody for the kind comments! I'm very glad that you are liking them so much! This set is coming closer and closer to what I wanted it to be, inspired by all other GRF creators.
Expect more new features for the 0.7 version!!
Actually the docks with adjacentstations are really great: not only you can have multiple docks as in real harbors, you can actually make ships load or unload on different bays but still work for the same station, or to organize the harbor better so that ships don't look like they mount on each other...
Those screenshots are totally awesome!

I can't wait to see more of them!

That looks like the cue for another screenshot from wallyweb’s savegame.
This is the harbour where the farm products are being delivered. I have left the station names displayed this time so you can see the separate stations.

No problem,
your screenshot gives a good overview of the entire harbour.

Nice!

Looks like an oil terminal.
Re your question, after you upload your image and before you click "Submit", there should be an option to "Place inline".
