ROFL! Elite. It'd be nice to have a "Silly vehicles enabled" tickbox in the options :P

I know those who work on open TT are doing this for free and working for free these days is asked a LOT! so I think everyone else here appreactiates your results so far and those to come, My Outermost respect to all of you! And you cant put a price value on respect (with me at least!)

P.S The very best to everyone for 2OO6!

Please, it's not "open TT", it's "OpenTTD"...

And I think you mean utmost, not outermost :-)

I have a question about scale. Take this stadium. It's supposed to be 2*2 squares, but wont that look pretty small if a locomotiv is around one square? And 2 squares would only make it 50 meters long.

well that's how it is scale of buildings trains, cars, ships planes and scenery is different in ttd so all of them are out of scale if compared with each other.

Crazy Vaclav, are you a Blender professional or what? :D

Ha ha No, not at all. I have only been using it for two weeks, and I have a lot to learn.

Vaclav: good point about the bigger stadium. (O)TTD code can't handle buildings more than 2x2, like 3x2 or even 3x1. However, if you make a graphic, I'm sure the proper code to support this will be made :)

When I think about it, I guess it is the same problem as with the huge oiltankers. We will just have to accept that the scale isn't perfect. And if it will cause a lot of extra work to make a building larger than 2*2, then I think it might best not to do that. But there can't be any cars, trees and such next to it, as it will really ruin the scale, compared to the things around the object.

A problem I have is that my files become really big. The DDA40X for example is about 8M. This is a big problem for me as I am sitting on a not so powerful pc, and when I try to render it with the light set-up, my computer gives up.
I tired to fix this by removing some of the faces, and make the side of the locomotive one big face, but this didn't help at all. And making the model smaller don't seem to help either. Any ideas?

Render without anti-aliasing, reduce the effects. Low quality shots take less computing power than high resolution renders. You can change it in "render options", it's F11 or F12 IIRC
