Why dont you make the:
ANTONOV 255!!!!
Firts of all it is AN 225, not 255. Secondly it was made for WAS by me 3 years ago.
Only the thing you have to do is to code it.

No, it's not an Antonow. Without the coils at the end of the wings it would be an Iljuschin IL62.

What that sentence reads is 'It is not an Antonov 225'

Correct translation. And how to read your sentence?

Doubtful as all of av8's sprites are created from 3D models. But I'm happy for Pikka to prove me wrong...

v2.1 is now available from Bananananas, just in time for OpenTTD 1.2. :)
  • GRF updated to GRF version 8.
    • TTDPatch support dropped.
  • Implemented new Range property for aircraft.
  • New vehicle offer and news dialogues now use full aircraft sprites, instead of the truncated buy menu sprites.
  • New GRF Parameter: "Airport Maintenance Costs". Reduces the airport infrastructure maintenance costs to a level more suitable for the smaller aircraft in the set.
  • Added de Havilland Twin Otter, NAMC YS-11, Ilyushin Il-62, and Airbus A400MCT.
  • Added Short S.8 Calcutta seaplane.
  • Added landing sounds for seaplanes.
  • Lockheed L-100 now expires in 2035.
  • Bug fixes:
    • Corrected error message bug when incompatible set loaded.
    • Removed a sprite marker from the TD-90 sprites.
    • Fixed alt liveries not displaying for some aircraft.
    • Fixed running cost for Airbus A330.

Small bug: the Zeppelin doesn't appear to have a range.

Well, that's not too unrealistic, all things considered:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeppelin_LZ104#Africa_flight wrote:Zeppelin LZ104... traveled over 4,200 miles (6,800 km) in 95 hours, or nearly four days in the air.
... [she] had enough fuel remaining which could have kept her in the air for another 64 hours.

Hi! I love 2.1, awesome job as usual! :D

But there's one thing that's funny.. I'm using a Europe map that's set in the 50's and I want to connect Rome with Paris. But since there are 500 tiles more or less that separate the two cities I put in the Stratocruiser's orders to stop first in Turin but still it says the range is too long...

If Rome to Paris is too far, so is Paris to Rome.

Apart from that, my crystal ball's got nothing, sorry. :(

I'm getting an error on the 'new aircraft' display. Appears to have the correct info in the buy window.
Using nightly 24056. I can investigate further if required...

Trust me to have a version just 2 before the fix. Guessed it was probably a file of mine at fault. I'll update. Thanks.

[edit] Yep, fixed.
