this is great work! but i wonder, is there a way to decouple cars and leave them parked freely? or did you just photoshop them to add realism?

No, their in the station graphics themselves, they can't be moved, and the rail their on can't be accessed.

Hi again!
I started a nice new game this morning using the updated BR Miniset + the new updated PIGs set. I'm playing on the "one junction" map, because it's easy =p. This originally was just a test game to try out the BR set, but I'm enjoying it so much that i'm sticking with it.

You asked for it.... I felt obliged.
screen 2 - Passing loop with double signals -> Bad stuff with more then two trains. And you could also tell which way your trains want to go when they are stopped, they are symmetrical.
screen 3 - TGV in the arctic? I won't say anything. Then, that curve on the TGV track next to the loco in Ponfingford Woods, why? You could straighten that curve out, so your trains wouldnt need to slow down as much.
screen 4 - One large curve is a lot better than lots of small one.
Thats all I can say. Long trains and simple junctions seem to be predominant. That would be all, Lunch is over now.

2= theres only two trains running on that route very realy anyway
3=Why couldnt you have a TGV in the artic? no crime against it, and i got slow down on curves off. and its tight there because thats the decent from the snow line!
4=that a RO-RO station

well, for two platforms anyway
if you ment screen 4, as my 5th picture... i like it like that
Answered enough
thanks Korenn

Nothing wrong with your networks, just a bit boring
For some reason I got the urge to post screens of my passanger networks... Its my favorite game (although I have an even more complex network on Prof_Frinks 21 towns chalenge, just not as interesting a passanger service system). The idea in this map is that the passanger lines are well organized, mabey I should conisder putting together a little story like in the good old days. As follows:
[EDIT] - I've decided not to post a story, as the map is pretty ugly :/ As well as that, I've done some stupid things to my network post-2000, and it just isnt that 'pure' anymore. I actually made the screenies, but decided not to. If you want the save, its here:

Why didn't you combine those two stations? Faster production, faster loading times, less branches...

It's unreallstic that way, I think

Raichase, it's PBS junction with waypoints (which is bad!)

- get rid of waypoints in PBS junction

Iv'e rushed this nighty a bit, so its not to brillient quality (next time, im sticking with steam trains

)
But i suppose it could be worse.
Positve feed back would be nice,
I dont particulally want negative feedback, i know its not to the best i usually make it
Its a night version of another picture on the last page

awww, but negative feedback is so much more entertaining.. ahh but after seeing your last nightly shots, this one will do just fine...
Just a question or two, what program do you use to make it nightly, and what feature of that?

it seems you've concentrated only on the trains and the signals. what about the train depot? the iron ore mine? imo, a realistic nightshot deserves more than this

Macromedia Fireworks,
just add a transparent black sqaure to get the night effect, add another bitmap layer on top of that with the colour (blurred) and there you go

1) Iron ore mine, is actually a diamond mine
2) There not in the mine, they have all gone home
3) i wouldnt call that a depot as such, more like a roofed wall, bit small for a depot, and why would they want to stay there when they can go home?
and lastly 4) i did say it was rushed
