Nice, but not realistic. It's a pain to take off a vertical military jetplane with two people on board, and you're making a vertical Concorde...
Besides realism, it looks great :)

Look at the patches - realistic plane speed patch is included and it's configurable...
You mean ''Aircraft speedup''? I don't think that such a patch should make my LB-3 fly like a Concorde, and the Concorde itself is crazy! I mean it can do an entire map in less than 5 secs! The acceleration seems fine (just really, really fast).

Could you load the attached saved game and see if you have the same problem?

Yes, I have the same "problem". :-)

In any case - the game with the patch calculates the airplane speeds in direct/real values instead of 5/8 or lesser part of the real speed like in the default Open/TTD. You can choose between behaviours though, so no reason to worry. ;-)

It`s good on my mega sized SP games with 2048*2048 maps.
The planes don`t take all year to make ONE trip.

Hi all.

I will try to start tomorrow building every day a secondary IN version for personal use. (I will find a name for it :) ). The IN builds were always late, and slow on bug solving apparently. Also that create problems because after a month the nightly has changed a bit and needs more work to add the patches than the previous build. I will work with the daily "Nightly" and a list of patches we can add easily or with small modifications extending the list as fast as I can.

If anyone is interested please let me know. After few days if I see the project is working I will try to publish the source, patch/diff for each nightly and the bin.

Atm in my list are the following patches

Signal Gui
Diagonal Clearing
Aircraft queueing
Realistic Acceleration
Smoke patch
Smooth economy
Toolbar fix
Yellow signal state
Town growth patch
Fixes for goto depot orders.
Better Road

Thank you

Panos.

IN builds are done by volunteers just like everything on OTTD. When you start paying me at IT rates, then it can be done as quick as you pay. Slow on bug solving... no bugs in R3345IN were attributable to the way the IN was put together... its all the source patches fault. So dont blame the IN integrators for glueing together other peoples faulty products.

Good luck to you. The last one I produced (R3345IN) took 12 hours to test, debug, and build the 25 patches that are in it. The biggest difficulty is that the patches to include are often themselves out of date, and that there is no central repository for the patches. So you have to go hunting in all the threads you can think of, then the links from those, etc. etc.

And all the acknowledgment you will get is people whining about the source code being missing, or long diatribes about bugs - which 95% of the time are bugs in the original patches, not the IN.

Pleasant experience? Not.

I will/can produce a new one using the baseline I built for R3345IN. But then, since I also published everything (check out my debugged patches for a workable patch), you could use that as your start point.

If you know, wich svn-version of ottd you use, I could test my patch myself against that version to reduce your workload.

Hi there. I'm not trying to offend you, or any other. I said I will try to work so we can keep the IN up to date. I'm a programmer and I know what are you facing, trying to add 25 patches out of date in a daily improved code. The same problems FoxAplha had, and the same problems before him. I appreciate your job.

Big thanks to you too Sirkoz. You are one of the few patch developers who seem to at least try to keep their patches installable against the current nightly. Many others are "fire and forget" it seems (including some of mine!).

Well - although I almost don't play OTTD anymore, it kinda got boring with no new version out (after release 0.4.0.1 and the nightlies are nothing without the great patches OTTD community made), so I just update the patches, so the real experience of OTTD with the Integrated isn't hindered.

A couple of questions regarding the latest build:

1. Does it include all the other patches from other previous nightlies?

2. How do you install it?

1. http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=387683#387683

2. Make a copy of OTTD dir.
2.1.Copy the IN over OTTD files(exe and lng files).

Hi!

I use the R3345IN and when I start a new game small, metropolitan and international airports are ready to be built.
Is it a way to make just the smallest one ready to be builtin the beginning of the game?
Like the city, metropolitan and international airports will be selectable as the game progress?

Cheers

No, it's a bug in the version of the past2090 patch it incorporates.

(It compares _date instead of _cur_year)
He's like, some kind of OpenTTD developer.
