Thank you .. best is yet to come (that's if I can make the pieces I like)

Thanks for your concern of my health .. it improving slowly.

Like to see what I can make with overlaps to tunnels .. just deciding what pieces would look good for that area. Hope to overlap the car parks and extension to the parks .. but wonder what else look good.

I'll have a look after the New Year .. like to try finish the car park I working on at moment first. Cheers

The Liverpool car park is progressing along nicely .. just the shop fronts to finish and a few overlaps to code.

This car park a bit large, but it helps show off many parts I done so far.

These are object car parks and shops ..

What my intentions are:

* can be used as just car parks
* or just shops with parking on the roof
* or you can combine them all together.
* The overlaps yet to make will allow you to bridge them across roads and also loading bays that trucks can actually enter.

If you like to experiment with what I done so far here the file, but best you DO NOT start a proper game with them yet as still more to add to it and a possibility I might need to change IDs on some.

These are in the Menu heading "Auz: MultiStory CarParks". The first 2 are experimental ones for previous car parks so best to ignore these for now.

Feed back appreciated.

Cheers

Coded the front shops this afternoon.

In this image the ones on the left are from "John Fisters" set and the ones on the right 2 are from "fridaemon" set and 2 that I made my self from shops found in Australia.
You can see a corner piece missing .. yet to make this part. Also the back walls are from the car park section .. yet to do a shopping center section.

These ones are based on the shops at the actual Liverpool shopping center.

Liverpool Car Parks and Shopping Center

Since last up load I added:
* Shop fronts (shops provided by John Fister, fridaemon and myself).
* Reverse Corners for shops and car parks
* Back walls for shops (this so you can just have the shops with roof parking only.
* You can combine any of the pieces to suit yourself. Can be part multi story car park and part shops if like, or you can split them like I did in this image.
Liverpool Shopping Center 07.png

(The corner shop refuse to sell .. so car park had to go around it.)

What next:
* Make a bridge (overlap) so can join the roof top car parks across the road.
* Also like to try make a overlap walk way as well.
* See if can make Loading Dock so trucks can enter .. hard part will be the center area deciding what design needed.

I had to change a few IDS so if you decided to start a game with previous upload, be prepared for problems.

There are 2 Object Selection Menus. (Hope make it a bit easier to find pieces.
Auz: MultiStory CarParks (.. also includes the middle car parks and the lift and stairs)
Auz: CarPark Shop Fronts

This set should be safe to use .. still got some object pieces to add, but I do not plan to change IDs anymore.

Feed back appreciated .. cheers

EDIT:

Just discovered thanks to "fridaemon" that the Reverse Corners for the shops is out of alignment. Will fix later today when I get home from town.

fridaemon that's a nice picture. May I ask which NewGRF have you used for parked articualted busses on bottom right and white/green road sign on top right of image?

These parking buses are unreleased for now. I started working on bus depot two weeks ago but I've had no time to finish it. I'm gonna do it in January ;)
This is an idea with using my warehouses.

These signs are from this newgrf:

But if you have limited newgrf list, in this one set are only few lamps with and without signs.

Here the next update.

They are on the drawing board. Looking at a few ideas .. a set of walk ways for top 3 or 4 levels .. so road can go under them and double decker buses will fit. Also make a wider set with restaurants and walk way combined. Will be working on those today.
Timeflyer wrote: 28 Dec 2020 16:46 what about green roofs / gardens or parks on top of the carparks ?
That could be a option .. the images you included .. if your able to start Google Earth and find Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia. It a Sydney outer suburb on the southern railway line. The shopping center is just a few blocks westerly direction from the railway station. It has buildings sticking through the car park similar to those images. Hope to try make those eventually if I can find some side views of them.

Here a small image of the roof of that shopping center. I not build all of it but most of my ideas are from this. The unfortunate part if Google Earth does not have street views from the 2 short streets where the bridges are and overhead shops are. The first short street on left has many loading docks. The next street has a pedestrian mall at end.

Experimented with a skyway with pedestrian crossing and also cars parking on grass.

The pedestrian crossing works ok so added one to one of the bridges as well.

It something I not tried before with top and bottom overlaps.

The sporting fields I made a few months ago .. I have those fancy car parks that can be used. But what about in the country town or at school sports days . they don't have sealed car parks except for teachers. So I made some car parking directly on the grass. Find these in Auz: CarPark Zones along with the Street Parking.

When I placed the street parking that has light reminded me that the multi-story car parks haven't hot any lighting for night time use. So I better see what I can do about that.

In the mean time here another update to this set with the skyway and Parking on Grass additions.

Be no changes now till after the New Year .. I plan to work on the overlap platforms to cover tunnel portals next and come back to the car parks after I do them.

Hi all, I forgot all about this forum of mine   . Been working on these sets but been placing them in my AuzObject forum.

I've made a new object set called .. AuzSubwayOverlayObjects.

I must remember to place all additions to that set in this forum.

Some of the new overlaps:

Multistory Car Park.

Shopping malls.
Shopping Mall.png

Also added more parks and pathways.

If you already down loaded the version in AuzObjects you will NOT need this one .. it the same as other one.

The subway overpass bridges are a great trick for cities! But could they please be set to not be built by towns and restricted to player built only? I'm not sure if it's yet supported in vanilla, but it looks like JGR's patch pack added a property for this last year in v0.38.0.

I see if I can find what I need to change in my codes for them.

Cheers
