Looks good, but I don't like the full brown rail beds on bridges :/

That is beyond my control
Another shot - this is my farm supplies distribution network in 1890
(edit) The somewhat convoluted depot layout to stop trains clagging up the station loop. Note I have the weigh & slope setting set up as such that the early stem engines can't pull an economically worthwith train up hill. Thus all loaded trains are down hill only
(edit) By 1899 its got more complicated with an Engineering supply station added

Maltby Steelworks' track layout is looking increasingly complex

The usage of PBS signals everwhere is ruining the view, but nice, keep them coming

I like it, wait for more noce screenshots!
It's a bit unbritish of using a lot of doubled locos on trains, aren't it?

uncropped (& much more interesting)
As for double and treble headers - I like em un-British or not

when you are using triple-headed trains, isn't it then time to switch to normal tracks instead of small gauge? (with more powerful engines?)
(i don't like small gauge to much)

I believe it
is normal gague, just with Pikka's finescale tracks it is quite a bit smaller than OTTD default.

They are full scale 0-6-0's on Mr Pikka's fine (in both ways) tracks
When I first started the 0-6-0 was all that was available. I could replace with a bigger single or double steamer but as you can do that by auto replace and I have >100 of the treble header they will likely remain until a diesel substitute comes along (and will still be treble headed)
