Swedish Trains should use the Windows palette (toggle button at lower centre of NewGRF dialog):

It's been using the Windows palette all the time, that is not the issue. I tested it in-game to no avail

I had the same problem with that version of Swedish trains and it worked for me when I toggled the palatte on the main meny rather then ingame.

Yes, that's the main menu NewGRF dialog. I never tested toggling in an actual game. I downloaded OTTD, fetched the Swedish Trains from bananas (I can't bother finding out the right capitalization of that), and started a new game - trains looked weird. Saved game, back to main menu, toggle palette, open game again - trains look OK.

It might be because the grf name doesn't end in W, despite the fact that it uses the Windows palette - I don't know if OTTD uses this convention?

Is that want to be this? If not, can I/we ask for a photo of the base model?
Now I do not know what to compare.

It looks good, except for the different height in the different views. In | view you have height 8 pixels, in _ 9 (+1 for the wheel), but in \ / you only have 6. I would suggest 8 for both _ and | , and 7 (or 8) in \ / .

You need an additional four views too, but I suspect you know that...

Hm, ok then, but I think the bus is a bit too high now. Just watch the distance between the top of the wheel and the bottom of the window on the real bus, and on Your drawings.
If You want, I can make an improved version of it, but I don't want to interfere.

No please interfere! You have more experience on drawing vehicles, maybe make the / \ sides a bit taller like AndersI said and the _ side 1 pixel less tall.

I try to not to change the entire bus, but I want it to compare the real.
I work only from the wikipedia photo what I linked above.
Edit: I don't find any photos of the Sweden livery.
Edit2: Maybe the wheelbase is a bit too short... :?

Now, I know what to compare, so I made some corrections on the drawings and extend the wheelbase.

The last version actually looks very good and is very similair to the real one. Thanks for your help colossal, will look at this bus for help when drawing new ones  . Also when time come to create a grf file, do you want to be mentioned in the credits?

I'm slowly working on some rails for the Swedish infrastructure set. The original rails doesn't look to Swedish imo, they have more gray stone at the sides.

Do we really need another rail set? I think the ones in yarrs - http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... ilit=yarrs or csRailset - http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=380792#p380792 are good enough. Especially the tunnels of csRailset.
