Most people tend only to do one degree at a time... :P

Anyway, we've got some ideas for moderators. I've been a bit busy as of late, but I do hope to get this sorted soon.

Personally I feel that the response to these 'spam' posts are more concerning that the actual 'spam' posts themselves. There seems to be a lot of bandwagon members who are publicly flaming those new members.

If you feel that something is spam (no matter what forum) there should be one or two replies pointing that person in the right direction as to how to post and also maybe reporting it to an admin. By people constantly replying to these spam posts all it leads to is the topic being cluttered with a too and fro of arguments/abuse.

Secondly what is getting on my nerves is the amount of people claiming that the admins aren't doing enough, just because the admins don't post in that particular topic doesn't mean that they aren't dealing with the matter as they could be dealing with it by PM.

lets be fair here for an moment. over the weekend the u.s. set thread has been spammed and flammed for almost three pages straight over the course 2 days. where even the creator of the thread wasn't amused by it. the same people starting new non-sense threads or spam other threads over the same course of time. So with no mods rearing their heads to lock or just say stop over threee pages. Does make people wonder where is an mod. Sure they might be sending pm's. but people trying to read the threads for info or get an response on the thread about the thread's topic, has to flip through pages of nonsense, does not know that pm's are happening. this situation does make the reader a little frustrated. Sometimes it is good for an mod to make an appearance and say something or just plainly lock an thread. then that just reminds people that things are being looked after.

sorry for run on sentences typed in an hurry. take care.

Next time, consider spending the time it took to write that sentence writing your other sentences correctly.

With regards to Locomotion, I've given Illegal_Alien permission to badger me after Friday (when my project is due in) to appoint new mods. I have some in mind, just haven't contacted them yet.

Can i hearby say that there are certain users, who dont seem to care what rules are, and also seem to be ignoring our new friendly mod? And i think i can speak for some users that, it rather annoying. I know you guys working on them, but i just wanted to say it, you can ignore this though, but at least i said the thing i wanted to say, even though if it sounds like some english word thrown together.

Actually I think our Loco service has improved greatly since I started this thread, largely thanks to our new moderator. :D

Still got to get rid of this guy though
